Environment: There is a lawn in front and a lake in the back, quiet and comfortable.

Do not book this hotel！
This hotel will credit card fraud directly from your card (trip platform revealed to them card secret) and transfer the money to the hotel account！
I went straight to the front desk with my bank statement that day, and the hotel refused to admit it. trip refused to take responsibility, the money is brushed by the hotel is not in their hands. I am still contacting the bank to recover the money. I promise I did everything on my trip and never gave the hotel any authorization, but the credit card fraud just showed up

Wonderful setting, absolutely phenomenal food and great choices of alcoholic drinks. Will definitely be back to this establishment. Sitting on the Loch yesterday with a beer and wine looking at what a beautiful spot it really is.

Stayed overnight with my partner here, couldn’t fault the place , clean, tidy and very welcoming staff at reception, lovely views from our room, dinner was also lovely, staff at the restaurant were so nice and food was so nice, breakfast in windows on the loch was lovely too, staff very nice also, would definitely come back .

So as a couple we have visited here 7/8 times now and never had any major issues 3/4 times with the full family .food always good to brilliant, Staff have always been nice and I think that comes down to how you react/come across yourself. We find the deals on there facebook page last minute mostly,so we don’t usually pay the rack rate which in some comments on here I do agree can be overpriced, but the hotel clean , rooms are clean , comfortable bed, fluffy towels yes all good BUT I have to say our best thing here is the views , absolutely stunning especially at breakfast , and found out today that our favourite server Charlie has actually been working here 55yrs Some negative reviews on here yes but last night the restaurant was full to busted and same at breakfast 8am so they must be doing something rite .

Went with a friend and our daughters. I ordered an incredibly simple Caesar salad. It came drowned in sauce and was incredibly heavy in the vinegar to the point of inedible. We were all chatting away, but still, they were so busy and understaffed that no-one came to see if the meal was ok. I didn’t want to upset the table, so I waited for the bill and asked if I could speak to a staff member as I couldn’t eat mine - the bowl was full, the server could see it hadn’t been touched. No one came, so I went up to the desk. I was advised there was no one that could manage my complaint and, as I hadn’t complained earlier, I should come back early the next day to speak to someone. I’m local but rarely use this place. Probably every few years or so, to catch up on any improvements - and that about sums it up; there won’t be another mistake made.
