Four Points by Sheraton Alexandria

The hotel appears to be refurbished. The suite we booked was overall clean but there were multiple issues. The first night upon a late arrival we discovered there were only 2 sets of towels for 4 occupants-NBd, just called housekeeping but it was a sign. Next morning, the ironing board had no cover and that previous call to housekeeping the night before only yielded one extra set of towels. They brought more towels and a replacement ironing board that wobbled. The next day, we discovered the coffee machine and microwave were both defunct. Maintenance let us know the microwave not functioning was a known issue and brought a small somewhat rusty microwave as an alternative. On the plus, the pool was immaculately clean and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Would I stay again? Probably not if I had a choice.

Very nice and in a quiet location. Very clean as well. And a huge plus was the front desk for check in lady was amazing and really nice. Room has lots of space and bathroom is roomy as well. Would def stay again and restaurants all around to eat. Book the trip!

What a great hotel in Alexandria. It appears that it was just remodeled so it is spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good each day, we tried everything on the menu during our stay. This will be out go-to hotel in Alexandria from now on.

While we are Silver Elite with Bonvoy by Marriott this was our very first stay at a Four Points property. We found the the hotel property to be very clean and well maintained. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. The stay was fantastic, particularly Emily at the Front Desk and Shae at the lobby bar! I also want to single out Arthur who also fixed our drinks, fixed our food, and made us feel so welcomed. He is a great ambassador for Marriott as he explained the benefits of the Bonvoy program and assisted non members in joining. If our travels take us back to the Alexandria, Louisiana in the future, we will definitely stay here again!

When I checked in, I was charged twice for the room. That does not include the $100 charge. Those put on my card for incidentals, which is certainly the way that that should’ve been done. When I checked out, I told the people the front desk that I was charged an additional $139.10 and that it was to be reversed. I checked my American Express bill the next day and it had not been done. I called today to have the $139.10 reversed for the overcharge and it has not been done. Quite simply, they don’t have staff that has the ability to correct issues and I would highly recommend never staying at this hotel.the food that I ate was marginal at best, the room was OK but there certainly are better choices

What I experience, lack of care and training and Nastiness. Front desk staff with don’t interrupt me looks on their faces, no smiles, on the phone/facetime while dealing with customers. Room keys not working at all or working sometimes which required several room changes. Credit card system double charging people etc. Cleaning crew yelling down the hall at each other while guests slept, employees parking in handicap spaces, smoking by the pool directly by quest windows. This Motel (yes, I said it) is disappointing, from used cups left in my room, hair on towels, hair in and on the toilet, blood on the underlay mattress cover, a pill on the pushed in table, Tv’s not working, and most importantly my last evening I went to bed alone and woke to a roach on my arm as I slept at 11: 40pm. I checked out at 12 that night. However, the lack of cleanliness is just the start, there are MAJOR safety issues starting with room keys not working to get into your room, or the room door would not close and lock, un-serviced elevators with no phone inside in case of emergency.

I’ve stayed at this place 3 or 4 times, however each time it has been going down it quality, it has since sold and is now a 4 points Sheraton and it’s completely under construction, as it was just a few years back completely redone, not sure what they re hoping to accomplish here. Rooms need all AC reworked as after a 3 room change we found one that worked, however water leaked out on the floor, floors are dirty and towels are hard to get, lobby workers are rude and act like they hate their jobs breakfast is a hit and miss, it cost $7. But if you come 1 hour before they close, you might get a bowl of cereal everything else is gone and they do not refill. Coffee for the hotel cost $3. A cup, they do not have coffee in the lobby though out the day ( I know, I asked) you pay the $3 bucks or do without. They have a bistro that serves in the afternoon, however when I ask about the hours open, I was told “ it’s probably not going to open today” 😒🤷‍♀️ Unless I get a huge rate cut, this last trip was and is my last stay here, other hotels in the area are better then this

Very friendly staff. Our little 2 year old was a little handful, running around all the hallways and they did not mind that at all. Rooms very clean and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The room cleaning service even gave us few extra towels. Definitely worth staying in.

Great experience nice rooms, and very great service! Accessible to restaurants and highways. Breakfast on site, adequate parking, safe area, outdoor pool, small gym, laundry room, vending areas on each floor.
