The floor was very dirty and covered with sand. It looked like it hadn't been mopped for months. It was not far from the beach, which was probably the only good thing. The outdoor pool was not heated and it was very cold when the sun went down.

Location is great if you plan on spending time at the beach. Defo worth paying more for a room with a sea view. The pool area had a warm spa/hot tub which was very welcome after early morning and slightly cold swims in the sea. A sauna was lacking and would've been a perfect addition. Interactions with staff were pleasant and friendly. Will consider again.

Good complex in Central, location in Alexandra headlands. It comprises of all one bedroom units, good size with separate bedroom and lounge room. Some units are updated some little older. The pool and spa was nice and clean and the management were very kind and helpful.

I stayed 3 nights. Yes, it had ocean views but the main road out front was noisy and so were my neighbours. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well- supplied with crockery and cutlery, but the dish sponge had old food caked on it (and was half of a full dish sponge someone had cut in half 🙄). The kitchen ceiling looked like there had been a fire at some point and the black marks had been hastily painted over. Two bath towels and a bath mat were supplied and that was all - no hand towels or face washers. The bathroom was basic and tired, like the rest of the apartment, but the shower was good. The air con worked. The wall clock that had no battery in it so the hands were permanently stuck on 1.40 said it all, really.

Was really looking forward to this 4 day break (not even in school holidays) but, sadly we were quite disappointed with the overall experience. As other reviewers have said, the beds are hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner wouldn't change from cooling mode. And, to add insult to injury, there is only a light fleece bed cover in the wardrobe. Staff seem difficult to locate. On the plus side, the ocean view was lovely and the balcony quite adequate. Pool and BBQ area seemed nicely laid out and clean. Surf club is an easy walk. However, the overall price for four nights was exorbitant, considering most of the units remained unoccupied during our stay. I don't think we'll choose this again.

Despite reading some non-favourable reviews, we booked a weekend stay here. We found it to be perfect for our weekend getaway. Each room has ocean views, so you can't go wrong here. We found the room clean, airy and breezy and absolutely loved the indoor blinds that separated the bedroom from the rest of the apartment. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. You have to hotspot your own Netflix or Stan, but that didn't bother us as we were rarely in the room ..... a lovely stay and we will definitely be using Ocean Boulevard in the future.
