The decor is beautiful! The details were charming—from the lovely mirror and chandelier in the entrance to the floral sink in the bathroom, all the little things added up to a wonderful experience. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Our hostess, Doris, was so very nice, and we greatly enjoyed talking with the other guests at breakfast. (Selfishly, I hope the inn doesn’t get sold for a long time so we can come back.)

Doris was an outstanding hostess! She was at the door awaiting our arrival as we pulled up on a dark rainy evening. She even offered to help us unload our car! She put us in a comfortable room with plenty of space as we traveled with a pack and play for my 5 week old granddaughter. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets in the closet. The home is beautiful, warm and cozy. Such a splendid collection of furnishings and glassware to adore! Doris had puzzles, books and games available. Coffee was ready early, as I was hoping! The breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious. There is also a hot pot available around the clock with a great variety of teas, herbal, black, and green. We will look forward to staying again!

The Bluebell Garden Club of Lewisburg, WV came together this afternoon (Jan 18, 2024) for afternoon tea. The ladies were so gracious with serving finger sandwiches, scones, fruit salad, desserts and hot tea. The tea cup settings were beautiful. Once again, a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you Doris and ladies.

Excellent stay in a beautifully decorated home. Period furniture, with modern bathrooms and very comfortable bed. Doris is a wonderful hostess and makes a mean morning breakfast -just delicious! Would highly recommend, if you can get in.

This is a beautiful Victorian home straight out of a time gone but but with all the modern amenities you need. We had a very comfortable big room and our own private shower room. The house was immaculately clean and Doris was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable about the town's history and places to go in the area. There was lots to eat at breakfast including coffee cake, fresh fruit and eggs and bacon. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation to couples, families and single travellers. It suits everyone!

Very nice old home.... the breakfast was exquisite, the conversation with other quests was great and the sleep was very comfortable. ..A great place to stay, "Off the beaten path"! I wish I had more time to enjoy this gem but had to run.

I can’t say enough about this B&B. It’s in a small town with not a lot to do, but it is so quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful Victorian home with beautiful landscaping all around it with a large front porch with seating areas for enjoying the evening. When you walk inside, you are greeted with beautiful antiques, hard wood floors, and a wooden staircase with a stained glass window. The entire house is furnished with antiques. She had lemon pound cake and chocolate chip muffins out in the evening for the guests to enjoy (which we did! Delicious!). In the morning, the breakfast was amazing. Sausage egg and cheese bake, cinnamon bananas, warm chocolate chip muffins, zucchini bread, roasted vegetables, and more! Plus a selection of teas or coffee. We were there on businesses and couldn’t find hotels in Lewisburg and found this gem. Next time we return to Lewisburg, even if hotels are available, we will stay here and drive the 30 minutes to Lewisburg! We absolutely loved our stay here and will return! I have so many more pictures I’d love to post, but it limits me to 10!
