We booked a family room with breakfast for me and my son. When we arrived, we were given our room key and made our way up the stairs (there was no lifts) and all the way to other end of the hotel (a five minute walk) only to discover that our room was not ready and the second bed not made up. We traipsed back to reception, where the team member looked into alternative rooms for us. The staff member was friendly, apologetic and polite but the facilities and infrastructure were just shocking. Eventually after a 20 minute wait, he found us a room but it was in another building across the car park. We were given the key and pointed in the direction of the other block. When we got there, we saw the door was wedged open with a sand bag, with no safety key card lock in operation. I was concerned and removed the sand bag door wedge to try and close the door, but it was evident it had been put there because the door was broken. (see photographs). This broken door was a fundamental health and safety issue. Lets just say that you would not leave your front door open in Aldershot, anyone could enter the building without a key and without being a guest plus the open door let in the cold. We made our way to our room which was absolutely freezing cold and not particularly clean either. We were so tired at this point we didn't bother walking back to reception and went straight to bed in jumpers. The next morning I had a shower and discovered the hairdryer was broken, we then made our way to breakfast, the restaurant is being renovated so there was no hot buffet, just a menu service. We ordered 2x English breakfasts, which took almost an hour to arrive. There was only 4x tables of people in the place, I could have made it myself quicker, it was just an awful experience that I never want to repeat.

Found the room to be a bit shabby, cleanliness wasn’t a good standard . Toilet definitely needed some bleach We’ve stayed here many times this was I would say the worst , We were attending the “memorial of the bomb blast” in Aldershot where our mother was killed, We then asked if the Harvester Rest next door needed booking, receptionist said yes, however we went in and the manager there advised that he couldn’t take a booking. As we had to do via Premier Inn Back to Premier Inn, they said oh yes, the rules of all changed now. We asked to make a booking on the Saturday evening for 14 people.- no we can’t take your booking because you’re 14family and friends are not guest of the Premier Inn - unbelievable- to add insult to injury/having to find an alternative restaurant - their restaurant on Saturday evening could very easily have accommodated us!! Reception at times unmanned as receptionist doubling as waitress in restaurant! Went for breakfast Sunday am-told could only have cooked or continental/ I wanted poached egg on toast, told that would be £10.99, as would be charged for a cooked breakfast. That was a final straw, we just left and won’t be back.

A business trip and location leads us to Premier inn Aldershot, where the accommodation always smells quite damp but the beds were comfortable. No towel when you step out the shower and the extraction fan appears not to be working or not sting enough to pull condensation out hence the damp smell. The main door to the accommodation was broken in the annex and held open by a bag that looks to have been there some time. Despite booking a table for 15 people the staff were disorganised and the food came out randomly one at a time. It was though there was only one microwave! It did mean some of the table had completed two courses as the starters were being received for others. The glasses were dirty and the service was shocking. We have learnt our lesson for the next business trip!

The staff, Celeste and her colleague were very helpful. Good location, close to the town centre. The rooms are very comfortable. I was very happy with my stay at Premier Inn Aldershot. I recommend it if you are in the Hampshire and Surrey area.

Arrived a little early and the friendly staff were able to accommodate us. Clean, well appointed rooms; we were even given a space heater as a boost - arriving from Florida the cold weather was a bit of a shock. Fresh towels every day. Great value and having a Tesco Superstore next door was so convenient. Will return again!

We stayed in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. Was really friendly and fast service. The food was delicious, good for the kids, and decent portion sizes. Would recommend for anyone staying to book in for dinner too, would come again.

Hotel room Room was spacious with plenty of amenities. (Bath and shower) Reception staff warm (Vish and Lucy) and welcoming. Happy to help when required Bar/Restaurant Impressed with the breakfast, cooked by Gina, who was also back in the afternoon for the evening food. Plentiful breakfast and Gina was very smiley and warm when she came front of house to regularly replenish the hot foods. Good selection of hot and cold food. Bar staff Both bar staff were friendly and warm. I missed the name of the male member of staff on Saturday evening. (It may be Steve). On Sunday evening, Annalise was very welcoming, chatty and warm. Showed interest in our day and had a welcoming character. Wanted to ensure that my stay was good on what was a slower second half of the evening for her after a large crowd had left. Fair play to all staff as they seem really friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasing experience here at Premier Inn, Aldershot.

A ten minute+ wait to check in, WiFi that didn’t work and the the worst restaurant at any Prem Inn I’ve been to. The room was ok, spacious and clean, but the heating didn’t stay where it was set so the room got too cold at night. The bathroom and showers were good, no complaints there.
