What a lovely weekend we had in Aldeburgh! The Cross Keys is a delightful pub serving excellently-kept Adnams Ales. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Our room (3) was spacious, spotless and light. The bed was really comfortable with a wrought-iron frame. Breakfast was superb (I had the smoked haddock with a poached egg) which I highly recommend. Tip - for fish and chips, go to the Upper Deck of The Golden Galleon. Unbelievably good. All in all, The Cross Keys was our home-from-home for the weekend and privileged we were to stay there. We will certainly be back.

Visited the Aldeburgh Festival and after searching we found Cross Keys rooms. Aldeburgh is pricey but this looked decent value in terms of location. and accommodation! Staff were great, room was comfortable, bed was excellent and shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was cooked from scratch (always a good sign) and we have a great time. location is very central so if you are doing a couple of nights then Cross Keys will be a good choice - we will be back!

I brought my partner here for a one night stay for her birthday and it couldn’t have been better. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great sea view and superb bathroom - staff were friendly and helpful, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this great pub as a place to stay, eat and drink.

Lovely friendly welcome from staff throughout our stay . Room 3 very nice with comfortable bed and interesting 16th century detail on wall. Enjoyed drinks (local Adnams beer) and a very tasty meal of fish pie for me and seabass with chowder for DH. Starter mackrel pate delicious and date Brownie dessert very nice. Breakfast very cosy in front of fire on cold January morning. Only niggle was awful mould in shower area of bathroom which could be easily remedied by deep clean. Only there for one night so did not distract from a very pleasant stay. Would recommend.

I was charged £1.20 for lime in lager, the Coop over the road sells a whole bottle for £1.45!!! Trading on position and area!! Give this Hostelry a wide berth... Staff rude and abrasive to customers!!

We stayed at the Cross Keys in July 2022 for one night and really liked it a lot. It is an old building but clearly a lot of money and creativity has gone into doing it up to make it a very comfortable place for guests. A lovely room, very clean and well organised with a nice bathroom and good shower. Efficient and friendly staff and we had an excellent breakfast. It is a bit expensive but we would definitely recommend this B and B.

Lovely old Inn with rooms well designed around the original beams. Clean and comfortable with big soft towels! All the facilities you need, the breakfast is exceptional using good quality ingredients to set you up for the day. A great location if you don't mind finding a parking space ( we had no problem all week). All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
