Sunwing Alcudia Beach

The air conditioning is top notch and bar staff was very welcoming. BUT however when me and my freinds were in the water it was totally different. We were by the dock where the «sunrise and dolphins» boat arrives when we heard two women screaming and were frantically swimming away. When we turned around we saw brown pouring into the water and swam as fast as we could out of there. It was contaminated with raw sewage as bodily rests… We were simply terrified for our health as we had been in it for a short amount of time. I was furious and rushed to the recepetion where i overheard two girls ( one i recognized from the water earlier swimming away) talking to the desk clerk about the situation that had just occured. I arrived in the middle of the conversation but from what i heard the hotel REFUSED to take accountability. They told them that if they wanted action taken they had to report it themselves. The clerk even replied with « Ooo» with no sign of compassion when the police was mentioned. I was already so tired and fed up i just went up to my room as i knew the reception was of no help anyways. The next day i woke up barely making it to the toilet projectile vomiting and my freind also did later that day. We immediatly knew it was because of the contaminated water the day before. I hope the hotel did something about the boat as this should not be the standard. I immediatly left the day after and will not recommend this place to anyone else. Everything else was very nice but deffinetly not worth the risk of getting sick.

Always visit this shop yearly for beach goodies, cold reasonably priced drinks, lovely salads and rolls. The ladies are so lovely always meet and greet with a smile. The shop is clean and tidy, well stocked with a little bit of everything. There is a new member of staff on the till, who will not say please, thank you or good bye apart from him ( I think it may be due to him being new) the shop is a definate yes for beach stuff!
