Mercure Albury

The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with spacious beds. The location is convenient, near gardens, rivers, cafes, and restaurants. The staff provides excellent and friendly customer service. Ample parking is available.

The first impression of the property was great s as it looked good from the outside. However, that impression was dampened with the behavior of the reception staff. No smile, no greeting, no friendly chatter. Nothing making us feel welcome after a long drive. I even had a 3 month old in my arm. She is usually pampered wherever we go. But the reception staff did not even bother, let alone smile. The evening receptionist was also not very friendly. I asked for 2 dental kits and was told there is only 1 and end of conversation. I get they may have gone out of stock. But I feel there is a way to present stuff. Apart from that the stay was good, the rooms and facilities were generally clean, except that I noticed a tiny cockroach in the bar area of the restaurant. Ok for one night stay.
