The ‘cabin’ was quite literally a cement room with no running water and a very small electric heater that was out of order. The room was clean and the service was alright.
The amenities however were absolutely terrible, the showers run on a recycled water system so you’d be lucky to get anything more than a dribble of cold water. The doors to the amenities block constantly jammed and the kitchen did not cater for travellers as you had to purchase plates and cutlery from the office, which was shut by dinner time so we had to use whatever we could find to cook and eat.
This place would be great if you have a camper with a toilet but walking 200m to the bathroom in the middle of the freezing cold night was not ideal.

This place is more suitable for summer, right by the lake, very quiet and comfortable. If you come in winter, you can go to the wooden sauna by the lake, facing the lake. On a cold winter morning, steaming in the sauna and looking at the lake view is particularly beautiful.

The place is actually together with the recreational projects. If you don't ask the front desk, you won't know that the hotel address is also handled here. After completing the formalities, drive in along the path. It really feels like an outdoor paradise.
Convenience of check-in: Check-in and check-out are very convenient. You can check out as soon as you return the key.
Safety: I thought it would be unsafe to live in such an open place. In fact, there are many people staying here, many of whom are foreigners. Some even drive their own RVs or campers. Safety is really not a concern.
Facilities: You can cook by yourself. In fact, it's the first time to stay in a homestay where you can cook. People from different places cook together. Everyone is busy. That feeling is pretty good.
Environment: The outdoor natural environment is absolutely great, not far from Cook Mountain.
Service: OK

The most surprising accommodation on this trip!
I thought the tent in the lake was a distance away, but it was right at the door, and there was only one tent here, which was also at the innermost of the camp, so it was more private. You can see the lake, the mountains, the stars and the sunrise by opening the door. Friends who traveled with me were very satisfied, and the price was affordable.
The room is more suitable for family stays, because the second room is a loft, in the closet next to the double bed in the tent. If it is a friend of the opposite sex who is not familiar with you, it may be a bit embarrassing and inconvenient to stay, so you need to pay attention to this. The room in this closet looks like the type that children will like. The bed in the closet is equipped with a hot water bottle, the bed in the tent is equipped with an electric blanket, and there is an extra blanket in the room, so there is no problem with cold protection.
But as a camp, there are also inconvenient places, such as washing. There is a mobile toilet next to the tent, which has a washbasin and a toilet. There is also a faucet next to the tent. But you have to go to the centralized shower room in the middle of the camp to take a shower. If you want to use it, it is recommended to go before dark. It will be cold and dark after dark, which will be inconvenient. My friend went to the shower room and said it was okay.
Maybe because of the weather, I saw on the official website that this tent is only available from October to April of the following year. We checked in in mid-March, and it was still a bit cold at night when the sun went down. So it is not suitable for winter.
All in all, I am very satisfied! I will come again next time if I have the chance, and stay one more day to experience the beauty of Lake Hawea.

The shared toilet and shower were reasonably clean. No amenities. You had to pay a rental fee to use frying pans, etc. The room was cute and clean.
