Oscar is an amazing host and his guest house is literally the best view of the pyramids from the highest rooftop in Giza! From full delicious farm fresh home cooked meals to amazing guidance to all of the sites and special places in the region! You'll feel safe and taken care of by Oscar and his staff, this was my third trip to Egypt and by far the best stay we've ever had! Thank you Oscar!

I have visited Oscars rooftop many times, but this is the first time I have stayed in his rooms. Oscar organized our groups entire stay in Cairo. From airport transfers, trips to Darshur, a private pyramid visit, Camel sunset trip, overnight desert trip, he arranged every detail in absolute perfection. Oscar is truly a one in a billion human beings. His deep and authentic care and attention in creating these experiences is felt. This really amplifies the experience into something which you know will last on your heart forever. The accommodation is clean, neat with each room having the most spectacular views of the Giza Plateau and the 3 pyramids. Ever evening we sat on Oscars rooftop l, enjoying an open fire, beautiful music, home cooked food and again the best view in Giza. This is a gem and high recommended for anyone looking for more than the regular tourist experience. This is truly experiencing the heart of Egypt.

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE and GREAT VALUE accommodation with the most HELPFUL, WELCOMING and GENUINE hosts. About the hosts: I can’t praise Amr enough! He has not only been an amazing host but has become our dear friend during our stay. From the first moment he made our holiday so easy and was looking out for our best interest! He came to pick us up from Cairo airport at 3:00 AM in the morning , drove us to the pharmacy when I had a stomach ache (not Pharaoh’s disease), and made us great breakfast and coffee every day. Amr is also a certified guide so he helped us plan our days, was our guide on some of our day trips and gave us recommendations for things to do. We can’t thank him enough for such a fantastic time! About the accommodation: My boyfriend and I have stayed in the Family room for 7 nights. Honestly, for the money that we payed we got way more than what we expected! We had a lovely spacious room with a massive double bed, a small but functional bathroom and a stunning view of the Pyramids and Sphinx from the 13th floor of an apartment building. Most importantly our room was clean. The living room is shared between three rooms so it’s not crowded. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking and the hosts really put in the extra effort to make the space comfortable, clean, stylish and very “instagrammable”. About the location: Just remember: Cairo/Giza is an incredibly busy city with a lot of people, traffic, old buildings and quite dirty streets. But this is everywhere! The building that we stayed in is in a SAFE area with shops and restaurants close by. Immerse yourself in the culture! The elevator (lift) in the building works with a remote control. Just text Amr and he will bring you the keys. Top Tip: Once you book your stay reach out to Amr (host) through Booking or WhatsApp. He is super helpful and quick with his responses and will answer all your questions so you know what to expect.
