There are many nice locations and activities to discover in close proximity. There was a lovely fire place at night .
My main concern was the lack of communication with staff , the mediocre breakfast and there was a case of damaged window without a glass .

Un lieu reposant. Loin de la foule de Marrakech, cet endroit est tout à fait idéal pour se déconnecter. Il y a même un hamam au sein de la villa. Les plats sont riches et variés du petit déjeuner jusqu’au dîner en passant par le déjeuner. Le logement est propre et donne même la vue sur le lac.

Our family stay at Relais Esmeralda was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mohamed, whose kindness made our experience even more enjoyable. The Moroccan cuisine, lovingly prepared by a wonderful lady, was a highlight of our stay—every dish, especially the tagines, was an absolute delight.
The setting of Relais Esmeralda is enchanting, combining tranquility, comfort, and authentic decor that invites relaxation. The suites are spacious, elegantly decorated, and provide all the comfort needed for a restful stay. We also loved the activities on offer, particularly the quad and buggy excursion to the Agafay desert, a truly memorable adventure.
Located just 35 km from Marrakech, this peaceful haven is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. We were captivated by this magical place and can't wait to return.

Un superbe moment passé pour le déjeuner qui était exquis! Merci à Rachid et aux excellentes cuisinières ! Nous avons ensuite pu profiter de la piscine et des transats l'apres midi. Merci à tous et à Riding Quad Morroco pour l'excursion en quad. C'est vraiment une expérience à ne pas rater!

Great stay at Esmeralda, the family in charge was very helpful and their tagines are very tasty (even the cat loved the carrots therein!)
Good choice of activities at reasonable prices (they don't advertise it but besides noisy quads and buggies, they also have e-bikes, highly recommended for a desert ride... if you're used to cycling)
