Amazing place , calm and the foods are extreem

First trip to Marrakech. Was not ready for the airport. If you’ve not been. Be ready for long queues. Very intrusive questions at passport control and then when you leave the front doors. Get ready to be surrounded by Pervy men. Not the hotels fault obviously but I wouldn’t want my daughter to go there alone. Once through the airport. In the taxi. The surrounding area isn’t great. It felt like a war film so Syria/Lebanon. Again not the hotels fault. Upon arrival at the hotel. It was beautiful inside. The guy that greeted us was very warm. Very friendly and took great care of us. Allowed us to check in early The room was also very nice. Twin beds. Clean very large room with an excellent shower. The food was also good. The stations for hot food were being cooked fresh and very good choice. Apart from soup. Which tended to be cream of vegetable every day. Every meal. I am not sure if it was due to being in October but a lot of the hotel seemed close. No real snack bar. The pool bar however, was very good. The service was excellent. If you sat close to the bar. Staff were very attentive and would often bring drinks over. Especially after a tip. The major downside was that it was heavily weighted towards their French guests. The entertainment throughout the day was mainly French spoken. This was the same at night time. The same people doing the same dance night after night. Unfortunately this was the only bar open. So you had to sit through it to get a drink. We also after day two developed a stomach issue which was not great. This was reported a lot throughout the hotel and I have never really encountered anything like it. I usually judge by would I go again? The answer would definitely be no
