On West Bank walking distance to 5 min ferry ride to East Bank!! Everything about this stay was absolutely beautiful. Don’t be fouled by the small dirt road off the beaten path, to the backroad entrance. Once you walk in and turn left WOW, stunning! Beautiful architecture with a fountain, plants, flowers, fruit trees, inviting rooms, some with balconies overlooking green fields. The meditation, yoga, prayer dome BEAUTIFUL such a gift and appreciated! There is a lovely pool in the shade with pool towels and lounge chairs. The food delightful cooked in a clean kitchen in an out building. Food was prepared with love 💕 the whole staff are so helpful and appreciative that we were staying at Embrace. We stayed in family room 202. King bed with 3 twin beds. Lots of space not crowded. A full bath (shower, sink, toilet) with another toilet room and an additional sink. View of Valley of the King/Queen mountain. Bedding is very comfortable and mattresses look new. Two floors with beautiful staircases and an elevator if needed. For my taste, likes, needs and comfort level, I can not think of a better place to stay and we travel multiple times a year to different countries.

We were familiar with Luxor and were looking for a hotel with an optimal location.
We found that! On the west bank, perfect for the Valley of the Kings and Queens and easy boat crossing (very cheap and very fun) to the Museum, Luxor Temple, Karnak etc.
In addition, a unique roof terrace with a view over the Nile and Luxor, where you can enjoy a delicious meal every evening.
Very nice people. Warm, caring and with a wealth of information (also in Dutch).
The location is remarkably quiet, no through traffic. The hotel is attractive, the rooms and bathroom are spacious and clean. And there is a swimming pool to cool off. We had reserved a large period, so we could also make a 5-day desert trip. Past Oases and to ”The White Desert”. The trip was tailor-made for us, two people, and it was great. We look back on two weeks in which we saw and experienced a lot in an incredibly relaxed atmosphere.

Peaceful place on the bank of the Nile away from the busy areas where you can relax. The grounds and views of the Nile are beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy, especially Ahmed (nephew of the owner) who was lovely to me and my son and really looked after us when we went to have a look around the west bank. The owner and his wife were also lovely and we felt very safe there. You can get food there and they can organise cars and trips. If you like walking, you can walk and get the ferry or one of the many independent boats across to the east bank. Although it is away from the sites of the east bank, it is quiet and peaceful and you will appreciate that at the end of a busy day of sight seeing and haggling. Would definitely return.

The Iberotel Luxor is in an excellent location overlooking the Nile (and 15 minutes from the train/bus station). Am so happy I chose to stay here. The Nile facing room is well worth the slightly higher price. My room was a good size with a fridge, lots of closet space, two arm chairs and a table. Only minus was that the sockets are oddly far from the bed. The balcony is great for sitting in the evening or at night or whenever it's not hot. It's quiet though the outside bar was playing a soccer game. Otherwise, no noise at night. Also no wifi issues anywhere in the hotel. The bathroom is functional but could use a bit of updating. The morning breakfast buffet had everything (breads, omelet bar, fruits, veggies, jams, cheese, meats, yogurts, dips, sweets, juices) and I went back for seconds and thirds every day. The pool area is lovely and right next to the Nile. Plenty of chairs and you can order from the cafe or just nap. All the staff from the waiters to the manager are nice and helpful. I walked to the sights, shopping and restaurants but obviously there are taxis and horses waiting outside. I was very happy, stayed an extra night and would absolutely recommend.

Stayed here as part of G Adventures Highlights of Egypt tour. Not much positive to say about the place except I've got to give accolades to the housekeeping guy. He was also friendly and even made some towel art creatures every time he serviced the room. A very nice guy. But you can't go past the ridiculous high prices for laundry. It's per item and starts at one US dollar for a pair of underwear. I mean I'm not from the US and we're not in the US so why are we using a currency that isn't Egyptian pounds? I went to Antarctica who have a monopoly for anything you buy as you're on a ship and their laundry prices weren't that ridiculous. If you're on the G Adventures trip do your laundry at the hotel before this, there it was also per item but only a couple of Egyptian pounds per item. So you can wash everything in your bag for the price of one or two pairs of underwear at Susanna. If you've left it too late the hotel in Alexandria is also quite reasonable. Breakfast was so bad I didn't go back after the first day. These guys couldn't care less about the environment, Every bit of stale bread and every other inedible thing is wrapped in multiple layers of plastic. You've got to pay extra (remember you paid for a room that includes breakfast) for a cup of orange juice. There's no water with breakfast either, you can buy bottles and other beverages in the foyer though.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Luxor. The hotel is in an excellent place downtown and my room was neat, clean, and plenty cool thanks to the AC. The manager Mustafa was also very kind and really helped make my stay here special. When I come back to Luxor, I will definitely come back here and enjoy the views from their pool balcony!

We arrived at midnight for a one night stay and left in the morning to see the temples. Good location. Friendly staff. My only suggestion would be to provide better directions to find the 6th floor as the elevator stops on the 5th, and there was no signage to direct us towards our room. It was confusing and took longer than expected to find where we needed to go even with directions from the front staff.

Outstanding
This hotel is a special place. Its location is absolutely the best for the West Bank sites ( if you like to walk like we do, Valley of the queens, Valley of the Nobles, Deir el Medina or the Ramesseum are reachable within 20 to 30 minutes) If you want transportation you just go to the street and soon a tuk-tuk, car or taxi will stop and you can agree on a price. Just one warning : do not do this at 7.30 in the morning or so because everybody is rushing to work and there are no empty cars that will take you to a touristdestination or even to the ferry (3 kms from the hotel). The hotel of course can take you anywhere but you will have to give a notice beforehand, the price will be fixed and higher, but you will have a nicer car too. We had a room on the topfloor and we absolutely loved it. Very well furnished with a matching design, good wardrobe, big enough balcony with seating and functional bathroom. The view over the very well cared for property, the fields, the balloons in the morning giges you an instant holidayfeeling. The only thing that bothered a bit was the plastic cover of the matress because of the cracking sound but we easely understand the hygenic reasons for it. We had several dinners here and were honestly surprised by the quality of the food (crispy fresh salads, hummus with nice presentation, refined egyptian pastry) and the very nice and friendly service. The friendly service and quality is also present at breakfasttime with fresh juice and Lavazza coffee and more than enough food. There is one more very special thing about The New Memnon Hotel : Mr Sayed, the owner is besides his concern about the guests, also a very caring person for everybody who workes in this community of a small hotel that wants to give quality to its clients but also more quality of life through a better income for its dedicated workers. Instead of a tipbox you will be asked if you want to contribute an amount on top of your bill so he can distribute it to everyone who keeps this hotel such excellent value. Be sure they will be thankfull.
GGuest UserThe owner and the tenants are very friendly. When we arrived after 0:00, the neighbors and tenants welcomed us warmly, offered us a seat, poured us drinks, and contacted us to get the keys, just like a professional waiter. The owner helped us contact the tat-tat service and even went to pick us up at the pier. The location is just a little off, so Google navigation is prone to problems.
TTravelBHad a really great stay! The hotel is on the West Bank of Luxor which is really beautiful and is nice and quiet. It is close to the Valley of the Kings and also close to the nile which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I forgot my phone charger and one of the staff members let me borrow one from them which I thought was so sweet. The staff were always around to help and were very accommodating. Ate at the hotel restaurant the whole trip and the food was really good. Fahd helped with all of the tours and getting a driver and really went above and beyond to make my trip amazing. The hotel has two pools and the rooftop has beautiful views of the valley and the hot air balloons in the morning. All in all I was very happy with my stay :)
GGuest UserThe hotel is very well placed for visits, located on the West River, and offers direct access to the valley of kings/reines, the Hatchepsout temple, the graves of the artisans, Medinet habu and Nefertari. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. Family ambience or we feel comfortable with a team always laughing and that can help you organize your visits with excellent quality price ratio. The swimming pool and the charming and relaxing area after a day of sun visit.
GGuest UserThe worst part of the experience was the noise at night. Very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The numerous staff/family operating the hotel are constantly moving and talking, cleaning, climbing and descending the internal stairs. 1 am or 4 am, it doesn't matter, shouting on the phone is considered normal... The ”call to prayer” sounds at 5 am are actually familiar, nice and soothing to me (from hearing them for years in Asia). The loud street noises (motorcycles, boat engines, shouting and music) I can understand and accept. But the stair and courtyard noises and loud talking were completely avoidable, especially since they were not made by tourists (no keys turning, door slamming or trolley dragging). The problem is worse in the small bedrooms with the ”mirror” windows that face the internal stairs. Double the noise (we had room 555). Of course, I clearly and politely mentioned the problem to management after the first bad night. I cannot recommend the terrace restaurant except for breakfast. The view is quite good, the food was decent, but you can get a better, more authentic (and cheaper) experience in the restaurants on the East bank. Other than this, cleanliness was average and the facilities were satisfactory. The Nile balcony view is nice. Also the top terrace view, sunset, sunrise or hot air ballon view was impressive. The staff does seem to try to be accommoding during the day. I can't speak for the tours they offer, we eventually declined them and booked separate temple tours online, but I did not get the sense we were getting any good deals, actuality quite the opposite... We found good local shops in the area (especially the local falafel and sweets shops) and really enjoyed the experiences and products they offered. Overall, as seasoned, curious and open travelers, I wish we could, but we cannot really recommend Spring hotel, unfortunately. Not even if it was less than half the price... Spent 3 nights here in one apartment booked on airbnb (4 people, 2 couples) in December 2023. By the way, at this time you could rent 2 apartments for 2 persons each, at exactly the same price. P.S. I am writing this at 5 am because I cannot sleep, on my last night at the hotel, as someone takes a loud phone call outside...

Recomendable 100%, si volviera a Luxor me quedaría ahí nuevamente.
GGuest UserThis location, I really can’t compliment it. I feel like I’m in a slum. I wanted to go out for a walk, but many people came to say hello all the way. Although I was not offended, this feeling made me very scared. The whole environment outside is dirty. There is a small room like a stone in the hotel. Fortunately, the garden is really good. The space is very large. The main reason is that there are too few people. It is a little panic. Let alone the wireless network. The whole mobile phone has no signal. . The whole is very depressed. . It was messy outside and the room inside was too small. I really thought about fleeing all night...
The main location really scares me 😟
