This house is three floors divided into four living sections as far as I could tell. The decoration is very ecclectic, but I like that about it. My biggest complaint is how little noise was blocked between the separate sections of the house, anytime the people above me would walk around or below me would open/close the door I could hear it.

Lovely old building full of character but the walls are paper thin, you hear everything from other people in the house to traffic noise outside. Reasonably located with a 10 minute walk to town. Beware of the late check in and whatever you do don’t phone up to ask if it can be brought forward. Spoke with a lady and was told I was rude and she would cancel the reservation so don’t expect too much on the customer service front.

We (five people) stayed in the first floor apartment (stairs only). The apartment is beautifully furnished, with a large kitchen and comfortable beds. It's a short walk downtown and there's a fantastic ice cream place just across the street. The only drawback is that the wall of the stairway to the upstairs apartment are thin and there was a rather boisterous group staying upstairs. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again on our next trip to Akureyri.

Nos alojamos en la grande de 3 habitaciones, nos gusto mucho tldo la decoración real, la amplitud pequeños detalles de epoca, la cocina con todo lo necesario salvo que no tenia lavadora. Cocinamos para dos dias.Nos sentimos muy agusto.
Ducha pequeña pero bueno. Aparcamiento en la puerta.

This was an incredibly charming renovated space with gorgeous layout and a full kitchen. My only caveat is that I am immune compromised and putting incense sticks out in the living room made it unpleasant. They were completely unnecessary
