The rooms are nice and the meals are excellent. There was only one small episode. I booked a room of 86 square meters, and went to compare the room with 38 square meters. Of course there is a problem with communication. After all, this is a rural place, and people who want to go there must be mentally prepared. The hotel is 2,380 yen away from the JR station by taxi. The hotel does not have a free shuttle. If you want to go shopping, you have to take a taxi or there is a sightseeing bus, but it runs at least every hour.

To celebrate his birthday and a year of hard work, we decided to stay in the Tori-no-Ma suite. First, after checking in, we were served matcha green tea and a complimentary Western-style room! They also offered coffee and other drinks, so instead of rushing to our room, we spent some time relaxing and enjoying the waterfall view from the inn. The room was very private, spacious, clean, and stylish. It even had an open-air bath, which was a big factor in our decision to stay here. Even though it was a weekday, there were quite a few people there, which made me realize how popular the inn is. The food was something I was looking forward to! It wasn't the room color, but the private space allowed us to relax without worrying about others. Speaking of Fukushima, Aizu horse sashimi is a must-try! We enjoyed it with local sake and ended up ordering a lot of additional dishes. The appetizers were a bit unusual, and I felt like picky eaters might not be able to eat everything. I actually wanted to surprise him with a dessert plate for his birthday, but they didn't offer that kind of service, which was disappointing. They offered a whole cake for free, but I wanted to enjoy the inn's cuisine, so I didn't want to end up eating the whole cake and leave any leftovers. I would have preferred a dessert plate, but it didn't seem like they were flexible in this regard, and instead just provided a set service within a set timeframe. I was able to relax in the bath, looking at the waterfall and enjoying its sounds. The service after the bath was also excellent. They also had a projection mapping show, which I thought was very unusual and was excited to go see. It was only shown once, so there were quite a lot of people there. I got the impression that there were a lot of young couples. Overall, it was a very nice inn. Thank you for your stay.
