Located along Noguchi Hideyo Seishun Street, it was surprisingly conveniently located within walking distance from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station. The buffet-style breakfast was also good.

There were no non-smoking rooms so I stayed in a smoking room. The smell of cigarettes permeated everywhere and it was not comfortable. I stayed for two nights and the noise from the floor above was terrible both days and I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done to improve it. I can't understand why I have to put up with this for the same price! The only thing that was delicious was the breakfast. I don't think I'll stay again...

Located along Noguchi Hideyo Seishun Street, in front of the hotel there is a stone pillar and an information board marking the site of the outer wall Omachiguchi gate. Check-in is handled by a staff member, and there is a cafe in front of the first floor front desk. The rooms are of the usual business hotel type, the bathroom and toilet are unit baths, the building itself is old but well maintained, the Wi-Fi speed is not very fast, and disposable slippers are appreciated. Our choice of accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu was Hotel New Palace. It is Aizuwakamatsu's first city hotel, facing Noguchi Hideyo Seishun Street, the street where Noguchi Hideyo spent his youth. As the first city hotel in Aizuwakamatsu, the hotel has an old feel to it, but the lobby and rooms are relatively spacious, and its convenient location in the center of town is also worthy of praise. We planned to use the "Town Sightseeing Bus" to sightsee in Aizuwakamatsu, so it was nice that the bus stop was right in front of the hotel. On the first floor there is a breakfast restaurant and cafe called "Deco", where we had breakfast during our stay and draft beer after dinner.
