The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Airlie. However, I found it disappointing that only a linen sheet was provided on the bed—no blanket at all. It got quite chilly at night. This setup might be fine in summer, but a blanket is definitely needed for cooler seasons!

The cleanliness is about the same. The important thing is that it is only a 20-minute walk from the pier. It is too noisy at night. There are RV campsites around and they are all young people. It is not suitable for those who like quiet. The room is also big and the sound insulation is not good

It is a youth hostel that can be reached in about 10 minutes' walk from Port Airy. There are various recreational facilities inside: beach volleyball, open-air cinema, swimming pool and so on. I stayed in a girls' quadruple room, and chatted with girls from all over the world. There are restaurants, supermarkets, swimming gear shops, and bus stops on the street... very convenient. It is also very close to the pick-up point of the largest overseas travel agency here.

The room is large, with separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen and cloakroom. Just not very tidy and clean. It's the end of August. There is only one sheet on the bed. It's too cold. I woke up at 4 o'clock from the cold. I found a small fleece blanket in the closet. It was too small. It was about the same size as Da Da today. It was covered with two bath towels and it was barely enough for one night. . The best thing is the location, surrounded by various bars and shopping, BWS and Woolworth are 3-5 minutes walk away. I booked a girls room but then there’s guys come live in the room , it was such a bad hostel, and the guy s come back late can’t have good sleep .
The worst is the front desk woman is so bad and so unfriendly won’t go there again

Perfect location close to everything. Although the staff wasn’t very friendly, the rooms and common areas really compensated for that! Would recommend!

The location is close to everything . The accommodations need better maintenance though . They sweep the room to clean real quick when there is someone checking out. I am in luck that my roommates are really nice and clean. The room look old and smell weird but if you stay long enough you will get used to it. They could make the room look better but they don’t .It’s a shame. Great place and good price for backpackers and caravan.

We traveled as part of a tour group and stayed in Airlie beach for a couple nights, before doing a yacht on the Whitsundays. We loved Nomads so much we’re heading back for a weekend soon! The accommodation was perfect, dorm rooms are great, and we upgraded to private rooms which were beautiful! Kitchen is well stocked, 2 fab pools and the grounds themselves are beautiful. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, particularly Quentin on reception, he’s so bubbly and fun, helped with every request we had, and really made our stay memorable. Nothing was too much to ask for, he really is an amazing asset to the team! Can’t wait to return this weekend!
