I use this hotel every time I go back to the countryside for a memorial service. The surrounding hotels are all business hotels, so I like it for its spaciousness and hot springs. I always go back with my wife, so I reserve a spacious room in a separate building with a Japanese-style room (8 tatami mats) and a Western-style room (twin beds). This time, my wife couldn't come back the day before, so I ended up using the large room by myself. I was looking forward to taking a bath in the hot springs, and since I stayed for two nights this time, I had some free time, so on the first day I tried taking a bath in the hot spring in my room. It had a different feel to the large public bath. I've decided to stay at Akebono-so again the next time I stay in the countryside.
