We were in 1DA the apartment for 6people, this is fine for 4 but 1 toilet (that smelt terrible upon arrival) and it really isn’t the best size for 6 so go bigger. The logistics of the stairs/lifts is a bit of a maze and the cleanliness isn’t great. This apartment does not have any sun whatsoever so no balcony sunbathing/siting in the sun for lunch. But wonderful views ( I suppose you can’t have both). Great ski in/out. Pool on the chilly side but at least no germs I wouldn’t stay again. Also if the people above you are noisy …. You are done for …. Wooden floors‍good luck !

Dreadful Really not worth the money. A toilet that stank and it was hard to enter for the whole family, a balcony that had no sun whatsoever all day, ceilings so thin I felt the family upstairs were literally in my apartment, ski lockers so narrow it was impossible to open lockers etc and when I flagged the issues - no help whatsoever.

We travelled with a 3 year old and I was worried the apartment may be too small. We booked a 1 bed that has bunk beds in an alcove. In fact, the bunk beds had their own separate room which suited us perfectly. My daughter loved her room and it was plenty big enough for 2 children. The apartment was small, but you get what you pay for. It was perfect for us, we were out snowboarding all day and was only there in the mornings and evenings. It had lots of useful extras: dressing gowns, dish cloth, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, one loo roll on arrival (you have to buy more), duvets and not blankets, bathroom towels, hairdryer. We were very happy with our stay. Only negative is check in time is FROM 5pm. We got back to the apartments at just before 5pm and they could not tell us when we would be able to get into our apartment. Having left home in the UK at 2:45am, it was a very long day with a young family and all we wanted to do was get in, unpacked and to bed!! We did get our keys just after 5pm, but I'm not sure if that was because I had a little moan!! They do a croissant and baguette delivery which you need to order by 6pm to collect at 8am. The pool was lovely, we only went once mid morning, and we were the only ones there. I would suggest taking your dressing gowns and going back to the apartment to get changed as there were only 2 small changing rooms which would not work if you have kids. Even though it was the winter season, the walk back was quick and not too cold! Ski lockers were very handy with ski in ski out. Apartment was very quiet, we heard neighbours a bit during the busy time ie dinner, but that was it. We had great views over the slopes and mountain. We booked through Crystal Ski on a package deal.

Stayed here for a week's skiing. Ski in/out for blue run skiers. Ski/Boot room requires some work but perfectly safe for equipment. Apartments are great with good bread/pastry service in the morning. Pool and spa is a good facility, particularly for the kids

We travelled as a family of 5 booked via Heidi and stayed in a 3 bed apartment (one bedroom is described as a sleeping nook but it is a smallish room with bunk beds). The apartment was tired and in distinct need of modernisation, the showers and kitchen sink were grotty, it was quite cold compared to all the other ski accommodation we’ve stayed at in France and the drains smelled. The hotel building itself is in need of modernisation, lifts, hallways and staircases are grotty, and the ski locker rooms in the cellars are awful! The floors around the lockers were flooded and filthy so if you went down in crocs for example your socks were wet and dirty straight away. On a plus point the folks in the very convenient onsite SKISET hire/shop were great, my boots were super comfy all week. The Aime 2000 commercial area itself isn’t great, it’s tired and lacks atmosphere of any kind. There are public lifts and underground walkways to get you from the Hauts Bois building up to the big ‘ship’ shaped commercial building where all the shops/restaurants/Spar supermarket is located. These are filthy and reminded me of the stairwells of car parks in the UK that are dark, dingy, worrying to use as a woman alone, and smell of wee. And the route back to the hotel from the lowest lift is unlit. Restaurant La Terrasse was great for a family evening meal, friendly staff, a lovely fondu for 2, good burgers and a duck daily special that my teenager devoured. The skiing around La Plagne is great and we’ll be back but definitely in a different area and in better accommodation.

Super !
