Mapi Garden's Machupicchu

Don't stay at this hotel because you won't sleep a wink all night. The stairs are very noisy, the rooms are paper-thin, and you can hear absolutely everything, including the outside noise, since it's on the main street. We came here due to a mistake made by our travel agency, and it was the worst experience in all of Peru. Anyway, since our situation is unresolved, I hope to help someone else. My advice is to book far from the station and make sure you check the quality of your hotel, as it's not the same as what it looks like online... and at least you'll be able to rest.

The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and plentiful... the location was perfect and close to everything, and the staff was very attentive, especially Patricia at the front desk. Note: We were able to leave our backpacks there during the day while waiting for the return train, at no cost.

Madness! Improvised management, the room smelled, the sofa was very dirty and external lights came in. In the bathroom mirror we found the writing "Aqua Fria" a sign of the discontent of previous customers. But the worst is yet to come: in the night we hear screams, cries, arguments between a woman and someone else. We didn't sleep thanks to the constant noise. We go down at 6.10 to have breakfast and everything was turned off, completely abandoned. We find other hotel customers upset about the sleepless night and angry about the breakfast. Obviously we didn't have the breakfast we paid for. We left the hotel without seeing anyone among other stunned and angry customers. In addition to the inconvenience of the noise, sleepless night, missed breakfast, there was the inability to leave the backpacks in custody for the trip to Macchu Picchu. We had to look for another solution. At 6am... you do it! Stay away from this damned place. Plus 50 euros for the room, the most expensive in all of Peru and the worst ever.

O restaurante serve deliciosos pratos típicos peruanos com um cardápio variado e bons preços. Local agradável, limpo e serviço atencioso dos funcionários. Bebidas e sobremesas também saborosas. Bem localizado ao lado do mercado de artesanato.

We didn't know where to eat, and this restaurant was very close to the hotel where we were staying. The quinoa soup was a great success; the rest was good, but not anything special. It's not like you always expect to eat the best meal of your life.
