Μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο Chania Hotel το τριήμερο της Καθαρής Δευτέρας και πρέπει να επισημάνω ότι είναι πραγματικά μια πάρα πολύ καλή επιλογή για τη διαμονή σας στο Πήλιο. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν πολύ ζεστό, πεντακάθαρο, με πολύ καλό στρώμα που έκανε τον ύπνο μας απολαυστικό. Το πρωινό μας εκτός των άλλων είχε τοπικά προϊόντα όπως μέλι, αυγά, τυρί και μαρμελάδες, ενώ το γεύμα μας είχε παραδοσιακές συνταγές όπως κόκκορα με χυλοπίτες. Οι ιδιοκτήτες και το προσωπικό ήταν πάρα πολύ φιλόξενοι και ζεστοί άνθρωποι.

Πραγματοποιήσαμε αποδραση το τριήμερο της Πρωτομαγιάς. Συνολικά 5 δώμάτια. Υπήρχε ένα θέμα αρχικά με τα άτομα αλλά ξεπεράστηκς άμεσα και τακτοποιηθήκαμε στα δωμάτια μας. Τα δωμάτια κανονικό μεγεθος, καθαρά και ζεστά. Το δευτερο βραδυ υπήρχε ένα θέμα με το ζεστό νερό και καποιοι εκ των συνταξιδευτών μα ςπαραπονεθηκαν για έλλειψηζεστου νερου για ντουζ. Το πρωινο αν και σ εμπουφέ ίσως θα ήθελε μια ανανέωση χωρίς να ειναι αρνητικός παράγοντας.

Επισκεφθήκαμε τα Χάνια μετά τα Χριστούγεννα. Ο καιρός κρύος αλλά το πρώτο που νιώθεις μπαίνοντας στο ξενοδοχείο είναι ζέστη! Από τους κοινόχρηστους χώρους, το υπέροχο χάνι του Ζαφείρη όπου παίρναμε πρωινό και δείπνο μέχρι τα δωμάτια, η ζέστη ήταν φοβερή! Ειδικά όταν την δεύτερη μέρα χιόνισε κι έξω είχε πολύ κρύο. Για την θέα ότι και να πω θα είναι λίγο! Το καλύτερο όλων βέβαια είναι ότι το ξενοδοχείο είναι pet friendly και μπορέσαμε να έχουμε μαζί το γαλλακι μας!! Ευχαριστούμε για όλα!

Chania Hotel is one of those gems you come across by accident every now and again. I had a weekend to spare between meetings on the Friday and Monday and decided to drive from Volos down the Pelion Peninsula to Milina, via Chania up on the mountain behind Volos. On the way I came across the Chania Hotel which looked charming and stopped to take a look. Long story short I didn't go any further and spent three nights there and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are comfortable with spectacular views of the mountainside down to the Pegasetic Gulf, the food is excellent (I don't like making a fuss over my vegan preferences but, without being asked, they cooked meals specifically for me), the beaches of the Aegean are around 25 minutes away, there are cool little restuarants, coffee shops and home craft type shops in the area and a nearby ski slope (for winter sport enthusiasts) a mere 5 kilometers away. And, being the middle of summer, it was much cooler up there than down at the coast. Above all, it is a family run business and has all the care and attention that goes with that. I can't wait to take my wife there when next we go to Greece.

The hotel is located on the main road, with ample parking (which is not a given in the area) and a fantastic southern view to the valley below and the sea furhter in the distance. The staff was super friendly, professional and made us feel welcomed during all our stay. The breakfast was more than satisfactory with a good variety of options. The room was spacious, with its own vernada and great view, just feels a bit dated. Overall, we had an excellent experience during our stay there, and would highly recommend it!

Η τοποθεσία και το ξενοδοχείο τέλεια! Εύκολη πρόσβαση με άνετο parking και κοντινή απόσταση (με αυτοκίνητο) από Μακρινίτσα και Πορταριά. Ο κύριος Ζαφείρης πολύ ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός (μας έδωσε χρήσιμες πληροφορίες για την περιοχή) Το πρωινό του ξενοδοχείου πολύ καλό και η αίθουσα είχε υπέροχη θέα! Το δωμάτιο που κλείσαμε είχε μπαλκόνι με θέα τη θάλασσα! Σίγουρα το συνιστώ και θα το ξανά προτιμήσω, ιδανική επιλογή για κάθε εποχή! Σας ευχαριστούμε!

Ωραίο οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο κοντά στο χιονοδρομικό κέντρο, με πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό. Το πρωινό ήταν νόστιμο και το δωμάτιο όμορφο, ζεστό και ευρύχωρο, με μεγάλο μπάνιο με μπανιέρα Μας έκαναν και δωρεάν αναβάθμιση δωματίου με την άφιξη!
