Golf Hotel Castelconturbia

Bellissimo golf. Purtroppo invaso da insetti e da tafani giganti aggressivi tanto da non permetterci di giocare serenamente……meno male che abbiamo preso il cart (prezzo esagerato!) almeno ci ha permesso di fuggire velocemente……abbiamo richiesto un repellente e ci hanno risposto che non ne avevano ma forse in vendita …….non è ammissibile un disservizio di questo tipo per tutto quello che si è pagato. Altra cosa non meno importante la cordialità e l’educazione inesistente……al bar non sono riusciti nemmeno a dire buongiorno…..per non parlare anche qui dei prezzi……se vuoi chiedere devi anche dare un servizio degno del prezzo! Non basta solo un bel campo! A volte basta veramente poco…..tutti prima o poi siamo clienti…..il servizio e l’educazione fa piacere a tutti!

Nun schon das 6. Mal können wir nur sagen: Hier können sich Golfer wirklich wohl fühlen! Schon bei der Ankunft wird man herzlich empfangen und der Service an der Bar und im Restaurant ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen jedes Jahr sehr gut und die Weinkarte gepflegt. Die Zimmer einfach, aber sehr praktisch eingerichtet und täglich gereinigt. Was will man mehr?

Bereits 2010 und 2011 waren wir in Castelconturbia. Nach etlichen Jahren in Bogogno haben wir uns dieses Jahr wieder für Castelconturbia entschieden. Das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Toller Platz, tolles Essen super freundlich…….

We had booked two nights at the Castelconturbia Golf Hotel at the end of September. We had to stop after one night because the room temperature (15 degrees) was simply not acceptable; the manager still wanted to charge us for both nights. So, let's take things one at a time: when we arrived we were quite surprised by the quality of our room; the room was extremely small and poorly furnished, the beds were completely worn out, the whole room, the whole hotel complex exudes a worn-out 70's groove. No investment has been made here for generations; But we all know that we should constantly reinvest in the hotel industry.... The criteria in Switzerland for a four-star hotel are: Reception is staffed 16 hours a day by bilingual employees, but must be available 24 hours a day Minibar in the room or 16 hours of drinks service per day or drinks machine on the floor Armchair or sofa in the room Bathrobe in the bathroom Guest elevator if there are more than three floors Current newspaper selection Of course, we are discussing an Italian hotel here, but by Swiss standards this hotel would get two! stars at best. If you want to stay in a correctly rated and highly recommended hotel, you should definitely drive 15 minutes further to Bogogno. In any case, we found our room not only cramped and depressingly ugly, but also very cold. Shortly before 8 p.m. the receptionist told us that he would look into our request and get back to us in half an hour at the latest... but no such luck... we then went down to reception ourselves. We were informed that by law heating was not allowed before November 1st and when I asked they gave us a blanket. We spent the next night shivering in our squeaky bed, fully clothed (except for our shoes). Another night would have been unreasonable and, above all, harmful to our health. The manager in charge still wanted to charge us the full price for the second night and only gave in after I insisted, so that instead of 160 EUR we only had to pay 92 EUR for the "non-night", although the second breakfast was also not included in the hotel bill. Instead of compensation for a night of torture, this kind of customer treatment...very special. The advice that they could put a stove in our room for the second night (our call for help had come too late for the first night...!!!!!????) of course did not persuade us to stay in this terrible hotel. This criticism obviously does not refer to the golf course and the food there; We really liked the place last year, the bar staff is very friendly...

Even if at first glance the hotel is a little old, the rooms have been redone with a superb bathroom and perfect bedding. For long stays, there is no shortage of cupboards and storage. Air conditioning and Wifi are available. The manager Isabella bends over backwards to ensure that we have a pleasant stay. As part of our stay we were on a half-board basis and the meals are worthy of a gastro, and the locals come to eat there. Finally, the golf course is sumptuous and the complex has a very pleasant swimming pool area to end the day.

Personal, besonders an der Reception und im Restaurant, sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind funktional und "heimelig". Was fehlt ist eine Abtrennung bei der Terrasse. Die 3. 9. Loch Golfplätze sind Top. Im spezielle auf dem Yellow das Loch 7.

I came back "home" with my two friends for the fourth time at the end of February. As always, a very friendly welcome, helpful ladies when booking the TT at various courses, excellent food and top service, friendly, attentive. The rooms were clean and easy to heat even in cold weather. The courses were in very good condition despite the early season. Ritorneremo!
