It was an excellent idea to celebrate our wedding anniversary in the Oberoi Hotel in Agra. We were given a very warm welcome and were pampered to the highest degree. The friendliness of all hotel staff is extraordinary and unbelievable. We visited the Taj Mahal with the guide Muzammil. In addition to his very friendly manner, he impressed us with his professional knowledge. Above all, he managed to get the most important information across in a short space of time. We can recommend the Oberoi Hotel and the guide without reservation.

This is an incredible hotel, i am astounded that this does not rate as the best hotel in India. We have stayed at most of the top rated Taj Hotels and Oberoi hotels and this is really outstanding, the views of the Taj Mahal and hotel design are exquisite, the service is generous, discrete and thoughtful, the staff are well trained, gentle, proactive and positive. The attention to detail and upkeep of the resort is immaculate. Everything runs like clockwork and the little touched and extra mile that all go to smack of quality and excellent management. We have stayed in many Oberoi hotels the quality is consistent. Thanks to a wonderful team for a magical stay,

My wife and I had the most amazing tour guide!! His name was Muzammil, he was extremely knowledgeable and kind We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, every question we had, he had an answer for!! I highly recommend using him for your tour!!!

This property is situated very close from the Taj Mahal. This is the closest hotel to the Taj and has the best views. They need to be seen to be believed. I don’t really need to say anymore. The property has great lawns, fountains, pool and pavilions with rich interiors. This is a premium and an expensive stay and i suggest opting for a Premier Room with Balcony, giving you the chance to sit down and just look out at the Taj. Lastly the property has a very high staff-guest ratio sometimes over the top but every need was seen to quickly and without hesitation. Excellent food and experiencing the hotel’s famous breakfast spread is an experience I know I won’t soon forget, and was yet another special way for me to enjoy my time admiring the Taj Mahal.

I just had the time of my life at the Oberoi in Agra. The hotel has the best location overlooking the majestic Taj Mahal. I went emotional when I walked in as the view was spectacular. The entire staff went over and beyond to make my stay super special; shout out to SLUAL who went over & beyond for me. The room, the spa, the food, the views, the pool - all 10/10. Best place to stay in Agra!

The highlight of our stay was the tour of the Taj Mahal by guide Kishore Guppta. The hotel organised the early sunrise tour which was so magical. Kishore made the experience calm and secure...plenty of large groups early that morning. As it was my husband and I we readily felt comfortable from the start at the hotel. Kishore was street smart, knowledgeable and had a strong sense of the culture and that of the Taj Mahal. He spoke in a clear manner with just the right amount of details regarding the history and the stories surrrounding its life. A great photographer too was Kishore. We talked about Indian life and the world in general. More than a tour guide, a *** that is passionate about his culture. The best tour guide I have had over the years and I am very hard to please!!! Wishing you all the best Kishore Guppta. ( Note I will write another review on our stay at the Oberoi Amarvilas...it will be another 5 star review).

Ok everything you have read about this hotel and the views do not do it justice. Seeing the Taj Mahal from the lounges and bedrooms is stunning. The hotel itself is a work of art. Everything is meticulous. They anticipate all your needs before you even know you need anything. I enjoyed the tandoori pizza at Bellevue was delish. We missed out on eating at Esphahan as we fell asleep early.
