1770 Lagoons Central Apartment Resort Official

Booked a room at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised at the standard of room I was given. Large room which was very clean and had all the facilities you would’ve needed. Walk in shower was excellent. I would recommend this great place which is close to the centre of the town. Good restaurant on site but found the bar very small.

We enjoyed it very much. Luxurious!

Incompetent management, food is average and pre cooked up to 3 days prior, don't eat the hot breakfast buffet on Sunday, it is reheated leftovers from saturday. The chicken dish for dinner sits in hotbox for 10 hours prior.

We recently had two nights accommodation booked at this so called 'luxurious ' 4 1/2 star resort ! Far from the truth . This premium accommodation is definitely not up to the standards as claimed on the website. Room 18 - leatherette couch was completely peeled & disgusting and one side completely sank and clunked when sat on. No doors separating the living area & sleeping area. When we went to reception to question this , we were met with the distasteful male manager who was extremely rude & his response was that "all the bi-fold shuttered doors had to be removed as they were falling down on people & it was too expensive to replace them " They did move us to another room ( 26 - the photographed room on the website ) that had doors but they too were coming off the runners & the hardware was separating from the shutters which made them un-closeable & unsafe. The facilities advertised are not to be believed. -No free to air tv channels on Foxtel. -Stream from your phone using free wifi - in theory a great idea,but a speed of 1.45 MBS just is ridiculous . -Jacuzzi in the centre of the pool area is COLD not heated as advertised. After one night we contacted 'Central apartments group ' with our concerns but were told to talk to the onsite manager. After heated discussions in the reception area in front of other guests ,the manager blamed Foxtel for changing packages & Telstra for the internet ( we understand that) but DONT advertise a facility you cannot actually provide. Eventually we were told he would refund one night's accommodation so we left. 10 days later no money & no email response. This current manager has NO management skills & clearly has no concerns for neither the customers NOR the resort. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY , YOU'LL BE DISAPPOINTED
