Santa Marina Unique Hotel

Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower. Using the shower inevitably floods the area around the bathtub. The plumber clearly has shares in a silicone factory, given the quantity used in this small room. To secure your valuables in the room, you have to pay an additional €3.50 per day and request a (huge) key from reception. A strange practice for a four-star hotel these days. The staff doesn't seem familiar with the restaurant's rules. We had drinks included (1/4 wine and 1/2 water per person), and there were no problems with the water, but we had to ask for the promised 1/4 wine. As for the food, it's more like a canteen than a restaurant. The dishes are not very varied and not very plentiful compared to the groups staying at the hotel. We had overcooked eggs (hard-boiled yolk) and rubbery for breakfast. The pastries were industrial and unrefined. The small pool is only accessible from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., making it almost impossible to enjoy it if you're just browsing. In short, a few improvements to the services could restore this hotel's four-star rating.

Our room wasn't ready (for two people they had given us a room with 5 beds!). They gave us another room number 311. A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. I am 1.53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything. Also hello hygiene!!!! The pool closes at 5pm and the water is 19 degrees. Not at all

I have never known such a mediocre hotel First of all the room was intended for 1 person while there were two of us We said to ourselves small mistake The next morning 50 people were waiting for lunch and what a surprise when entering the restaurant 17 very small croissants The waiters apart from the young one extremely unpleasant The evening after the excursion what a surprise to find our room door wide open What can I also say about the evening meal where after 5 minutes of opening nothing left to eat meager numerous complaints from tourists nothing moved The next morning opening at 7:30 and 7:35 no more bread even less croissants there were none at all In short I strongly advise against going there and advise the tour operator to validate the services but without informing them of your arrival
