Everyone is really friendly. The accommodation is very good,
It is conveniently located between the entrance to Agia Pelagia and the beach.
The food and cocktails are great too!

Seems very brand new cos opened 2 weeks ago after long renovation works. But still needs some improvements just like flowing waters from shower booth into the toilet and show tap?

A hotel that feels more like a family, who look after guests and have a lovely atmosphere. The hotel is lovely with a good variety of rooms and styles. The restaurant is fantastic - even top 10 through TripAdvisor and the staff including the manager always go above and beyond. Although we have been coming for years, and do love the place, it always exceeds expectations and we would absolutely recommend a stay!

Beds are very comfortable, Bostani restaurant has a superb chef, staff are friendly and serve some of the best cocktails. Every member of staff is helpful and friendly. Love it here. Come every year. Great place to relax and very close to the beach.

Uitstekend personeel, goede kamer en meer dan prima eten en drinken. Ik zou dit iedereen kunnen aanbevelen. Zowel Agia Pelagia als het hotel zijn niet groot waardoor je niet het gevoel hebt van het massatoerisme zoals bij de plaatsen verderop.

We verbleven 15 dagen in het Irida hotel. Een prachtige locatie, zeer aangename werknemers en zeer verzorgd. Verder zijn wij mensen die steeds zoeken naar adults only of hotels zonder glijbanen om kinderen te vermijden. Dat ging tot dit jaar altijd zeer goed. Omdat het Irida hotel wordt verkocht als een retraite en oase van rust dachten we dit kan niet fout gaan, het leek bovendien ook geen kindgerichte setting. Jammer genoeg voor ons hebben we nooit zoveel baby’s en kinderen in een hotel gehad als nu. Wat zeer storend is in een “oase van rust”. Omdat we natuurlijk zelf gekozen hebben om het risico te nemen van geen adults only te nemen wil ik hier geen “slechte punten” voor uitdelen. Wel vond ik de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet voldoende om 5/5 uit te delen. Algemeen een aanrader, wees je wel bewust van de kinderen.

We came to Crete for a wedding and stayed for a week at Irida. It's a great venue if you like being on the mountain overlooking the sea whilst you also have the nearest beach within walking distance along with all shops, restaurants and all kinds of services at Agia Pelagia. The hotel was clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant and pool bar also had plenty of options available any time of the day. The free yoga was also fantastic according to my partner.

This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room.
