I really hate writing negative reviews, but this time I have to. When you book a "premium" room for a much-needed holiday, you expect a level of comfort and service that justifies the price, right? Unfortunately, the experience we had was not good and the room was a huge letdown and definitely not worth what we paid. This was the only holiday of the year for us to relax, and it was almost ruined. We booked the "Junior Suite with Private Hot Tube" for 13 nights, which cost 2,278 euros in total; that's 175 euros per night. Was the experience we got worth €175/night? Certainly not, and my review is based on the price and "value-for-money" we got. The room is nice, modern, and clean, with a comfy bed, a spacious bathroom, an outdoor jacuzzi, bathrobes, slippers, and a coffee machine. Despite all that, the experience we had was not a good one, and definitely not worthy of €175/night. I'll explain the issues in order of importance to us: 1. Broken Air Conditioning Halfway through our stay, the air conditioning unit failed. With outside temperatures consistently hitting 30°C, the room became quite hot. We immediately reported the issue to the owners, but they took no real action. For the final week of our holiday, we received no updates, no offer of an alternative, and no resolution. The problem was eventually ignored. 2. No Hot Water in the Mornings or Evenings (most of days) Most of the days, the hot water was only available between approximately 9:30 am and 8:00 pm, presumably due to a reliance on solar heating. This meant no warm showers in the morning or more importantly after returning late from the beach or a day trip—a fundamental amenity missing from a supposedly premium suite. 3. Severe Humidity and Mould The bathroom's inadequate ventilation created a serious humidity problem throughout the entire suite. The air was damp, visible mould was growing on the walls, and we woke up daily with headaches and sore muscles. A working A/C would help with the humidity too. The conditions were so unhealthy that we were forced to purchase our own portable dehumidifier to make the room tolerable. I would strongly advise anyone with asthma or other respiratory issues to avoid this room. 4. Complete Lack of Privacy The hot tub, the suite's main selling point, lacked any privacy. The room is situated directly behind the hotel's bustling bar and restaurant area, with a constant flow of people walking past. Any sense of privacy was impossible, completely defeating the purpose of paying extra for this feature. 5. Unwelcoming and Unprofessional Owners Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of our stay was the cold and dismissive attitude of the owners. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. They were consistently unfriendly, avoided all interaction, and on a couple of occasions, failed to even return a simple "good morning." It felt less like we were valued guests and more like they were doing us a favour, despite
