Amazing hotel with extremely friendly staff. My only criticism is the size of the sofa beds, I am 188cm tall and could not stretch out. Other than that, perfect.

Folia hotel apartments was very well kept, clean, newly renovated and everything was in good working order. They had a very nice breakfast buffet everyday for 10 euros. The pool area was clean and beautiful. We paid 3 euros/day to park our car. The driveway up was steep and the parking spot a bit tight, but everything worked out great. We even had a little patio area out back for eating and viewing the sea. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Ce fût notre deuxième séjour à l'Hôtel FOLIA et certainement pas le dernier. L'accueil est très agréable, l'équipe (accueil, cuisine et service, femmes de chambre) d'une gentillesse sans faille, est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Les conseils dispensés sont toujours très utiles (restaurant, excursions ....) Tout est d'une propreté parfaite. Le petit déjeuner en buffet est excellent et varié. Nous adorons.

Just returned to Norway after our second visit at Folia this summer. As always,a perfect stay at this wonderful, familyrun hotel. Nikos and Giannis are fantastic hosts and very helpful of all kind of questions you may have. Its location, only 5 min walk from the mainstreet, is perfect. It is so quiet and peaceful. We chose this hotel due to the amazing reviews, and it did not fail. The hotel Is beautiful and clean, staff friendly and tentative. It’s situated on a little hill in a peaceful area. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity you will find it here.

Where do we start, this hotel is a must if you are visiting Crete. The two brothers Giannis and Nikos are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and so quaint. We didn’t have the breakfast as we don’t eat until later but it looked delicious. We went to the beach every day which was only around a 10 minute walk. We sat around the pool on our last day as we had to vacate the room by 1.30pm (we paid a bit extra for this) and the pool area was so clean and quiet. The weather was gorgeous and the pool area was like a sun trap, the pool its self was spotless. The restaurant’s in the surrounding area are beautiful and the food lovely. If we ever go back to Crete we would 100% stay here again.

The best hotel in Agia Marina, so relaxing, so beautiful. Family owned who are so kind and helpfull. It's always great to comeback here, a place in my heart. A fantastic place and great views and the flowers are so well kept. Thanks for the great holiday as usual.

Siamo stati l'ultima settimana di Agosto, ottima posizione se si noleggia l'auto per andare a visitare le spiagge di Balos , elafonissi e Falassarna e non molto distante da Chania anche se si trova 10min dal centro di agea marina dove ci sono ristoranti,market e negozi. La distanza dal mare è circa 15min a piedi in discesa (il problema è il ritorno) le camere sono spaziose e pulite l'unica pecca il bagno piccolo

We had No. 34 which was overlooked by a public stairway and had a wire security fence, we did not ask to be moved as that would have meant being moved higher and we were already struggling with the steep hill up to the room plus the two hills to get down to the bus stop, tavernas and shops. We are two females 61 and 74 and reasonably fit but found the hills difficult. We ate in the hotel twice but were not impressed. Overall we had a good holiday but would not go back there. We found better shops and tavernas further into Agia Marina, about 3 bus stops to the left. The beach was not too far but again down the hills, there is a nice taverna on the left when you get down to the beach. Recommend a visit to Chania Harbour and old town.
