Atrion Resort Hotel

Stayed 7 nights in aprill in eastern week. We had booked 3 superior-rooms wich were located in the main building. All our rooms were different in size and layout even though the rooms were adjacent. My room was bigest, but was missing proper wardrobe with doors (it had open shelves) and layout was odd. The beds and pillows were comfortable and soundproofing seemed good. Overall, the room was of good quality and clean. The air conditioning was efficient. Bathroom had free toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and gluten-free bread was available upon request. The staff was friendly and helpful. Poolbar food was good with big portion size. Hotel has recently upgraded its star rating so now it’s 4 star (used to be 3 star) and it’s mean higher Climate Crisis Resilience Fee which has now doubled so take this into consideration. In my opinion the hotel is an excellent 3 star hotel, but lacks some amenities that you would expect from 4 star hotel. Hotel offers restaurant/bar and swimmingpool. For 4 star hotel I would expect gym, sauna etc. So now you just pay much higher Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (70€/room/week) but you get same amenities when hotel was 3 star. Remember that you pay that fee in the hotel and it is not included room prices. Nevertheless a nice and high quality hotel.

The Atrion is a nice clean hotel with very pleasant staff. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared and the waiting staff very friendly and hard working. The hotel looks new or very recently renovated, however a lot more could have been made of the grounds it has. The pool, although a good size, had nowhere near enough beds around it and the daily struggle to spend a day there was not worth it. As has been mentioned any other posts the mass pilgrimage to the area at 8.30 to bag a bed to see the ones that had been taken not being used for large chunks of the day was infuriating. There was a massive grass area in the grounds which would have been much better used as a pool area and supplied ample ground for more beds than were there. This daily struggle meant that we had no choice than to trek to the beach daily and pay for beds putting additional cost on our holiday. Cost that the hotel and the providers have the indication would not be needed due to there being plenty of room around to the room to relax. So all in all, staff etc were great and my 3 rating is not for them, but for a hotel made to feel small due to poor planning and use of it's grounds.

Our second visit to this excellent hotel. We asked and were given the same room as the year before which we were very happy with. We had B&B again as there is a huge variety of items available. The room had air con a balcony and nice view of the pool, grounds and the sea.

Lovely hotel in a good location. Our room was ideal overlooking the pool/garden and always kept clean. Thanks to the staff who all work hard and are welcoming. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis ands there was always plenty to choose. There is a very good swimming pool although we did not use it as we were at the lovely beach which was just across the road. There are loads of local restaurants near so you will always find somewhere to eat. Many thanks to Eleni who sorted our room out for us again. Hope to return very soon.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, despite a few positive aspects. The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. The location was also excellent, with easy access to local attractions. However, several issues significantly affected our stay. Most notably, the rooms had virtually no soundproofing — we could hear every sound from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which made it very difficult to rest. In addition, the air conditioning did not work, and although we reported it to reception, no action was taken. The swimming pool was also unheated and too cold to use comfortably. We were also charged a €10 per day environmental tax, which had not been mentioned during the booking process. While the front desk staff was polite, they showed little initiative in resolving any of the concerns we raised. Overall, the serious lack of comfort, particularly due to noise and poor service, outweighed the hotel’s otherwise good location and breakfast.
