⭐ 2 out of 5 stars I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected — especially considering I booked through ******* and paid for an All Inclusive package. What I liked: The location is great — close to the beach and local attractions. The hotel is clean and the common areas are well maintained. The food was okay, not outstanding, but decent enough. What I didn’t like: There’s a daily fee for using the in-room safe — something that should be standard and free in a hotel of this type. The room didn’t include a clothes iron, which made it difficult to keep clothes in good shape during the stay. Beach sunbeds and umbrellas are not included — they come at an extra charge, which was not clearly stated during booking. But the most frustrating part of my stay was the booking issue. I booked an All Inclusive stay via *******, yet when I arrived, the hotel told me my reservation was only for Half Board. I was shocked. After looking into it, I found that the ******* confirmation email didn’t clearly mention the board type — only the room type, guest count, and my name. This lack of clarity opened the door for the hotel to deny what I had paid for, and I ended up with fewer services than expected. To me, this felt like a deceptive practice, either by the hotel, the platform, or both. I trusted *******, didn’t double-check the fine print, and I paid the price. ⚠️ Tip for other travelers: If you book this hotel through a third-party site, double-check that your confirmation includes all relevant details — especially the meal plan. Take screenshots, bring printed proof, and don’t assume everything is as it should be.

Zeer teleurstellend.. Bij boeken beloven ze een ruime kamer met mooi terras en uitzicht op zwembad of tuin. Zicht op een muur en zand met lege blikjes bier en een dode rat.. De badkamer was erg klein, de douchesproeier werkte niet. Telkens alles onder water. Het water kwam van andere kamers door de riolering naar boven in onze badkamer. De bedden voor de kinderen waren niet meer dan een harde bank.. Het eten was dagelijks lauw en hetzelfde. Er waren te weinig ligbedden. Elke ochtend om 8 u alles volzet. All in is geen echte all in. De snacks zijn erg beperkt , droog en onsmakelijk. Bij het waterpark krijg je geen drank bij de snackbar dat hoort er niet bij.. Bij de andere bar kan je zelf frisdrank nemen met siroop. Als je half pension hebt en nog voor je drank moet betalen krijg je wel coca cola en echte merken. Een cocktail krijg je in een kartonnen beker ook als je op het terras plaats neemt. De dame die baas is in het hoofdrestaurant snauwt je neus af, als je vraagt om buiten te eten ook al is er nog plaats. Heel slecht gevoel bij dit hotel. Alles moet in het teken staan van de klanten maar bij hen gaat het enkel om extra opbrengst en besparen.

The place itself was really nice, lots of activities to do to spend your time. Hotel rooms were comfortable and had a good view outside. Food buffet offered lots of choices and there were atleast 3 different pools. Lots and lots of cats in the area. My favorite part of the visit, though, was the service we received at the bar. I recall the bartenders name was George. Kindest bartender and maybe even person i have ever met. Not only that, but he made us excellent mojitos, which he always made sure to put extra effort into. Always smiling, just by being happy, he made us feel welcome and brightened our nights. (Pretty sure he works night shifts lol) Anyways if you ever visit this place, make sure to drop by. :)

The hotel overall was very very beautiful and clean, but most of all i was in love with the service. We had this really sweet guy serving us at the bar area who made the best mojitos ever and just the best drinks overall, literally (If you ever go here, you'll instantly recognize him). The pools were fun and the beach was beautiful. It was pretty crowded though, but its fine.

Amazing Holiday at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa! We had an unforgettable time at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The food was delicious with a wide variety every day – from fresh salads and grilled meats to tasty desserts. One of the highlights was definitely the aqua park at the neighboring hotel – perfect for cooling off and having fun during the hot afternoons! But what made our stay truly special was the animation team! Huge thanks to the amazing animators – they made every day fun and full of energy. We really enjoyed the daily activities like stretching, water gymnastics, darts, and table tennis. The team always kept us moving and smiling! The evening programs were just as great – full of music, dancing, and lots of laughs. Every night brought something new and entertaining. From all of us – Martin, Stan, Tedi, and Yoana – thank you for such a fun and memorable holiday. We can't wait to come back again!

5 étoiles ??? nous avons connu mieux . Excellente cuisine . Serveur(euse)s en salle un peu jeunes , mais Maria, la cheffe sauve la situation . Densité de chambres trop importante : des terrasses dans des couloirs et trop peu de jardin et d'espaces autour des piscines ... donc trop peu de sunbeds . Inadmissible : sur la plage de l'hôtel les sunbeds à 15 € /jour . Hotel bien placé ( plage et Chania à 30 mn de bus )

Nice big resort in a good location. On the beach and close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Lovely breakfast buffet in a big bright room with fabulous views. Great onsite mini market which was reasonably priced and well stocked. Decent pool bar and a great service that you can order food and drinks to your sunbeds via an app. The downsides would be about the sunbeds. They are reserved with towels from 6am onwards. Ridiculous carry on while on holiday. Some guests wouldn't reappear until after lunch. Staff didn't care. The material on the sunbeds would nearly scald you. You'd need 2 towels to cover the whole bed to avoid this. Plus they are heavily stained and some are actually smelly. They all need a good wash. In other hotels I've been in, I've witnessed the pool staff hose down the beds.... I didn't see this happen here.
