Nous avons été accueillies par le fils du propriétaire Zakaria, qui était absent ce soir-là. Ce fut la soirée la plus intéressante du voyage, grâce à l'excellent anglais de notre hôte, qui de lui-même nous expliqua le fonctionnement de la société jordanienne et répondit à toutes nos questions. Le repas, fait maison, fut succulent, et partagé avec un ami des propriétaires. La vue sur le barrage et la vallée est très belle, les chambres sont simples, propres et spacieuses. Nous avons juste regretté de n'avoir pu remercier notre hôte, qui n'était plus là le lendemain matin.

Pension familiale, tenu par Zakaria, un adorable homme qui parle bien anglais. Chambre simple mais bien équipé (frigo, Clim, canapé, télé, terasse avec vue très sympathique sur le Jourdain. Repas pris avec les autres pensionnaires, en toute simplicité, abondant et savoureux. Nous avons pu partager le thé sur la terasse au vent. Petit déjeuner copieux et complet prêt pour une journée de visite À recommander chaudement les yeux fermés

Zachariah and his family go to great lengths to make their guests feel at home - in fact this is more of a homestay than a motel. The view is amazing, overlooking a man made lake with hills on the far side. The atmosphere is quite rural. Eating traditional Jordanian dinner in the family house is a great privilege. The rooms are spacious and share the same view across the valley. The facilities in the rooms are adequate. Breakfast on the terrace is likewise very adequate. The hotel gives very reasonable value for money.

Gefallen · Superlage am Stausee des Wadi al-Arab, allerdings etwas abseits der nächsten Stadt/Restaurant/Pub. Interessante historische Stätten in der engeren Region. Hotelier Zacaria empfängt sehr freundlich, erklärt und tut alles für einen. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, aber traditionell arabisch, nicht mein Fall. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, wenn die Hunde des Nachbarn schlafen. Das Zimmer ist riesig, das Bad allerdings etwas eng. Die Anlage ist für ein so kleines Hotel recht weitläufig, da findet man immer eine ruhige Ecke. Nicht gefallen · Das Wifi begann ab 22 Uhr schwer zu schwächeln. Bad ist nicht heizbar.
