Tapovana the Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur

Booked at Tapovana for a day and extended for 1 more day once visited here, it was truly a refreshing escape! Nestled right in the middle of nature, the resort offers a calm and peaceful vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and recharged. The atmosphere was filled with positive energy — perfect for a break from city life. The staff and the manager were incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality added so much comfort to the stay.

The property is in the midst of coffee plantation giving a serene view of the mountains and the valley providing a sense of calm and peace with the most hospitable & friendly staff taking care of all your requirements. Other positives include rooms providing all the basic amenities, sufficient food options and other outdoor/indoor activities for having a fun filled vacation with your family & friends.

This is a beautiful resort with a beautiful view point. However, if you want to have an experience that includes, Food and service then would not recommend it. Food is average and service is below average. If the basic daily rooming cleaning is done at night that too multiple follow-ups and requests. And if you are thinking to celebrate some special occasion and planning pay for it. I would certainly say big NO for it as they mention on site that they will arrange a private candlelight dinner by the pool with special decorations and charge for it. But in reality they will give 2 tea lights in the same restaurant where everyone is eating with the cake that is different than that you ordered or paid for. So why waste money on sham. Amazing part even after writing this experience to their hotel central management none responded properly or took any actions against it. So overall it is 2.5 for me only bcz of the infrastructure and locational of the place which is beautiful. But I wish I could have opted for other resorts in the location and wouldn't have spoilt my husband's birthday on some bad and below par with any second graded homestay service or experience.

place is extraordinary but maintenance is very poor for the amount being charged room and bathroom are full of cockroaches and insects basic amenities like mosquito repellent and few other things need to be asked for network issues need to be sorted out by having good wifi connection. frequent powercuts and food is very avergae but costly

Overall good property and great food. The rooms could be maintained a little better in terms of cleanliness.

Disappointing experience! the service was lethargic, and the property's cleanliness was subpar. We booked valley view rooms, but the view was nonexistent. There is no valley view rooms. All they have mountain view be cautious when booking. Additionally, the staff seemed understaffed. Not recommended.
