We are four young women travelling together, and our experience at this hotel was genuinely terrifying and traumatic. A hotel receptionist brought an angry taxi driver to our hotel room door, claiming we had underpaid him, which we hadn’t. This is a huge violation of guest safety and privacy. We were left shocked, frightened, and completely exposed as the hotel had put us in danger. When we reported it to the manager the following day, instead of helping, he flipped the situation on us. He defended his colleague, accused us of lying, and refused to check the cameras, even though we told him we had seen it with our own eyes. He kept saying the receptionist “only went by himself,” which we knew was false. We asked to change rooms that day to feel safer, and were told, “Maybe tomorrow.” We never got moved. They made it very clear that our safety was not a priority. The previous evening, when we confronted the receptionist, he aggressively told us to “shut up, shut up, and go back to your rooms.” We told the manager, who again denied it ever happened, saying “he’s a nice guy.” Luckily, we caught it on video, and when we showed it to the manager, he laughed and didn’t say a word. No apology. No accountability. Just silence. Then came the most frightening part: the manager told us that the police were looking for us because the taxi driver made a complaint. As four young tourists, this absolutely terrified us. We went to ask him more about it, worried we might need to go to the station to clear our names and after seeking advice from the British embassy over the phone, only for him to casually say, “Don’t worry, he was just lying.” We were scared sick, and they took it as a joke. From start to finish, we were gaslit, disrespected, and treated like the problem, even though we had done nothing wrong. We had already paid the taxi driver, who was clearly trying to scam us for more money, and the hotel enabled him by giving him direct access to our room. And if the safety issues weren’t enough, the hotel was filthy. We literally watched the cleaners: • Flip dirty pillowcases over to hide stains rather than replace them • Leave pee-stained sheets on the bed • Change only part of the bedding - sometimes just the bottom sheet, sometimes just the duvet We had to beg repeatedly for fresh sheets, and even then, it was inconsistent and careless. This hotel is dangerous, dirty, and completely unprofessional. The staff and management do not care about your safety. In fact, they will gaslight and blame you for things you didn’t do. We would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s genuinely safer to sleep on the streets than to stay here. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

This hotel is atrocious, please under no circumstances come here! Under. No. Circumstances. Come. Here. It is the worst experience I have ever had and no one deserves to come here and be put through what myself and my group went through. If I could give a minus 100 star review I would. One of our taxi drivers followed us in to the hotel and lied to reception saying we didn’t pay the fare, when we payed what was on the meter but he wanted more. The receptionist then brought that same driver to our room!!! Knocking on our door repeatedly!!! This is such an infringement of rights and violates so many safety laws. We are 4 20 year old girls, can’t speak the language and were made to feel so unsafe. After the taxi driver left, we went downstairs to confront the receptionist who told us we were crazy and to shut up multiple times. We didn’t sleep that night, for obvious reasons and the next day we spoke to the manager who told us we were essentially lying and the receptionist didn’t take the taxi guy to our room, when we literally saw him bring him to our room!!!!!! With our own eyes!!!!!!! We asked to move room, for our safety, and it was not permitted and we were told by the manager that everything was fine and that it doesn’t matter that the taxi man was brought to our room. Disgusting and disappointing behaviour in so many ways. Not even the manger respected our concerns. My friend for a video of the receptionist telling us to shut up and go back to our room, we showed the manger and he just laughed. It was obvious he didn’t respect women in the slightest and I really stress, again, do not come to this hotel for any reason at all. I wouldn’t even suggest this hotel to my worst enemy. On top of this, the cleaners didn’t clean the room and the sheets weren’t changed until 5 days in when I noticed the same mark on my pillow from day 1. We had to ask the cleaners 4 times to change the sheets as they just flipped the pillows over and thought we wouldn’t notice. The shower water Please, please, please, do not come to this hotel.
