The Syntopia Hotel - Adults Only

Amazing treatment with great reception, wonderful massage with special care for back and hands (because I'm a guitarist) frop my therapist Joannis. We got a special price and recommendations from Katerina, the spa manager. Thank you for a very relaxing morning!

We had a couples massage treatment by Dora and Joannis. It was very relaxing and serene. Dora did a fantastic job massaging out the knots in my shoulders and I left feeling relaxed and unwound. Katerina did a wonderful job explaining to us the use and benefits of the sauna and hamam! I would highly recommend coming to this spa!

The service was amazing, as well as the treatment at the spa! We felt really looked after and cared for, from the minute we arrived everything was explained to us and the staff couldn’t do any more to help. Would highly recommend the spa to anyone staying at the hotel.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we had the most amazing week. The staff are all so friendly and happy to help, the hotel itself is just beautiful, so clean and smells incredible. There is one restaurant which is buffet-style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food is really good and varied. We also had the honeymoon package, and came into our room on the first night to petals, balloons, a love heart cake, and a bottle of fizz, which was really special. The main pool area is amazing, we never had an issue finding beds, though we were up for 7:30/8, but if the beds do get taken earlier, the rooftop pool opens at 10:30 so you'll get beds there, which ended up being our favourite spot! Our only tiny criticism was that the music got quite repetitive in all pool areas, with the same playlist seemingly on repeat throughout the day, every day. But the music did have the perfect chilled vibes. We also had a couples treatment at the spa which was probably the best I'd ever had! Private use of sauna & steam room, full body massage, aloe vera body wrap, and facial, all for €110 each! Katerina the spa manager was so lovely, and really helpful, and our therapists Giannis and Dora did such an amazing job- we felt so relaxed. There's a beach and some shops just a short 2 min walk from the hotel, and we liked going for a little sunset sea swim. If you're into sight-seeing, we did a trip into Rethymno old town (10 min taxi ride from the hotel, cost approx €12) and went to the Venetian Fortezza which had beautiful views, and we did a 1hr trip into Heraklion to see the Palace of Knossos and the city. Just make sure you check for what's included in the all-inclusive before ordering if you want to avoid unexpected costs at the end, though there is a lot of option, and the all-inclusive cocktails were great! Couldn't recommend Syntopia more.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Syntopia. Facilities were amazing rooms spotless and choice of the most gorgeous pools to sit by. The staff absolutely made our stay perfect they were attentive warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A relaxing and perfect holiday would highly recommend.

Great food, 3 amazing pools and spa. Outdoor cinema night was also really nice touch. Live band and jazz player was lovely. Sunbeds do get taken quick but we normally found a spot at the jungle pool. Good selection of drinks. Room was modern and clean.
