The Franklin Boutique Hotel

Beautiful funky Hotel gorgeous rooms with complimentary mini bar and very comfortable bed, the staff were all very lovely and accomadating A short walk to Rundle shops. Be sure to try the hotels food delish there's also a lovely balcony that you can sit on, could not fault this hotel it's service or its food.

What a find this was! We were busing out the next day and wanted something close to the bus station but didn't know what to expect. The exterior is not particularly preposessing, classic city corner pub. But the interior is anything but. You check in at the bar, but bags are carried upstairs to rooms which are excelent, large, attractively decorated, with thoughtful additions like free drinks and snacks and double blinds to reduce outside noise. The bar had a genuinely friendly atmosphere and the meal we had was excellent, the service quick and courteous and great beer! If you want a "flash pub", not for you, but we loved it! Highly recomended.

We ate here twice and on both occasions the food was brilliant. There were 5 of us one night and 4 the next - family from 3 states having a reunion. We found the smaller dining spaces really good as we had an area to ourselves which made chatting much easier. The meals were all top quality - not the ordinary meals which seem to be served in all Pubs and Clubs. Our daughter had a gluten-free Burger and the bread was the best she has ever tasted. I had the Chicken Kiev which was superb. The other meals were also enjoyed very much. Well done Cheffy.

This was a delight to stay very large room with king-size bed and a great bath as well as shower. The pub downstairs dishes up some fabulous food. Try the trout it was amazing. The location is short walk to the markets and directly opposite the bus station.

The rooms are above a bar and can be quite noisy when the bar is in full swing, however didn’t go on late so was not an issue for us. The room was quite small but adequate and bathroom looked fairly new and had all we needed. A shelf in the bathroom would be useful as we had to be inventive with placing of items etc. The staff are excellent and the beer is good. All round good value

Stayed in room 1 for one night, and would happily have stayed longer in this excellent accommodation. We arrived at the bust station from a trip to Kangaroo Island, and just had to cross the road with heavy cases, so the location was perfect. We were greeted and checked in by a friendly and helpful guy at the bar, who kindly carried my case upstairs for me. The owners have made the rooms special, with great decor, blackout blinds and fridge with complimentary drinks. Wow! We ate a tasty lunch in the pub downstairs and had drinks from the bar before heading out in the evening. Didn’t find it too noisy to sleep, and the bed was very comfortable, so had a brilliant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I’m ever back in Adelaide.

A charming small hotel in a historic building. We had a deluxe room, small but with great design and very quiet. The mini-bar offers free beer, cider, wine and water. On the wooden balcony you can end the day relaxed. As in most historic hotels, there is a pub with a variety of beers and delicious food. Definitely try the Franks Dog's! Things can get quite busy until around 11 p.m., but after that it’s quiet. Many breakfast cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The young staff is very friendly and super professional. Ein charmantes, kleines Hotel in einem historischen Gebäude. Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer, klein, aber mit super Design und sehr ruhig. In der Mini-Bar gibt es gratis Bier, Cider, Wein und Wasser. Auf dem hölzernen Balkon kann man den Tag entspannt ausklingen lassen. Wie in den meisten historischen Hotels gibt es einen Pub mit diversen Biersorten und leckerem Essen. Unbedingt die Franks Dog‘s probieren ! Bis ca. 23 Uhr kann es hoch hergehen, danach ist aber Ruhe. Viele Frühstücks-Cafes und Restaurants sind fussläufig erreichbar. Das junge Personal ist sehr freundlich und super professionell.
