Positives The room Is very spacious and nicely put together. The staff on the frontline waiters ,waitresses when there have been enough have all been very pleasant and great with the kids. The kids clubs staff have also been fantastic. Negatives During the stay before the strikes the room some days was not cleaned until later on and some days we got restocked with water while others we didn’t. On the first day of the strikes we went to breakfast where we were not shown to a table as shortage of staff. Which is completely fine . We then were asked if we would like coffee/tea and we asked for 2 coffees. 10 mins later nothing had arrived so we politely asked again to one of the management team when was walking around . A lady with short spikes hair and glasses. She very rudely told us that no hot drinks were being served today due to the strikes. Although other tables next to us had hot drinks and she didn’t even offer an apology or sorry. The strikes were very badly communicated on a whole. On the day of the strike there was a sheet in the lift saying there was a strike over the next 2 days and service maybe limited. As we have paid nearly 6,000 Eur for 8 night bed and breakfast we do not expect to call up and be told our room will not be cleaned for the next 2 days due to strikes.again no apology given !You knew the strikes would be happening and this is unacceptable for the amount paid. The first day of the strike were sat by the family pool with our baby and 6 year old daughter when there were protesters outside shouting us in g air horns and cannons. None one member of staff was-present giving reassurance to guests . I have attached a video it was scary and as we are not Spanish or from the canaries. There were not enough staff the entire time we were here regardless of the strikes or not. The pool waiters came round once in a while but not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. The ceiling in the buffet was in disrepair and damp and one day water dripped down from the ac unit. Also another picture provided We have stayed in the ritz Carlton for less money and we thought we would give the GF brand a try but it was honestly no where near 5 star. We have received zero compensation to date just an apology. Not good enough

Just returned from a weeks stay here. We stayed B&B with a 2.5year old and a 3 month old. We loved it! Rooms are great and you get so many welcome gifts, especially the kids ones which my toddler loved. Cots are proper cots too - not travel ones so it was still big enough for my toddler. The ‘chocolate fairy’ also comes every night with fresh water, towels and chocolates too which is a nice touch. My only criticism of the room was the water pressure - it was terrible! Took about 25mins to run a shallow bath. Pools are all so clean and sunbeds super comfy! Plenty space for everyone and unlimited towels. Service around the pool was great, friendly staff and super quick. One of the best breakfast buffets we’ve had - lives up to Dubai style buffets! We loved the smoothie lady. We stayed B&B but found the food in the hotel much better than surrounding restaurants so on reflection we probably would have been better on a HB package. So many great additional touches for the kids and a clean and comfortable hotel. My daughter loved the mini disco every night too! We would 100% return.
