It's hard to say this hotel is great, but it does have a glorious past. Even the locals say this hotel is too old. The overall interior decoration is stuck in the 1990s and is not in line with modern life. The biggest problem is that I stayed for five days and there were too many mosquitoes in the room. It was so noisy every day that I couldn't sleep well. This is the biggest problem if I choose to live here. But it has a great location, nice staff, good breakfast, and a big garden.

Very attentive and efficient staff...
In spite of that their facilities show in some parts the time passing, all staff is very attentive and efficient; gardens are enjoyable, also the Jazz club, is well ocated near the National Museum, bus and metro stations, view from Woreknesh Genet Restaurant.

Fijn om in een echt Ethiopisch hotel te verblijven met heel oude geschiedenis. De tuin is prachtig. De service is geweldig. Ik ben blij met dit hotel.

Pleasant stay in characteristic hotel
Ghion Hotel is a very pleasant hotel to stay. The surroundings are excellent, including park and swimming pool, in the heart of the city. The hotel has a great history. Service staff is always willing to help. The rooms need some updating maybe, but the beds are excellent, and the shower is always hot. Personally I like Ghion Hotel much.

Agréable mais avec quelques défauts à revoir
Accueil pas mal, chambre propre mais sans drap aux fenêtre comme dormir à ciel ouvert.
Navette ne vient pas à l'aéroport à l'heure demander, il faut appeler sur place et compter un considérable temps d'attente

not a place I would come again.
it's mega fumbled-old and no hot water! dirty. I left the hotel 3 days early because it was not to sleep in such an old bed. TV didn't work at all. pasonale was super sweet. but the hotel needs a serious upgrade without mold etc.

I had a great time at skylight hotel with ma family and the staff of the hotel they are so familiar starting from the get of hotel till the place we had our sandwich and coffee at beankaffa on the 1st floor with bartender wogayehu and the simile’s eyerusalem was perfect with there job thanks alot

This hotel badly needs money spent on it, thieves came into my room and stole my mobile phone and tablet, they also stole a laptop from a woman in the room just opposite my room. I got an apology from the manager but zero reduction on my bill. I have visited over 35 countries and this was the first time l had anything stolen from a hotel room. They have stale bread at breakfast, 2 or 3 days old,even with a good bakery right next door, they still manage to serve up stale bread.
