Adare Manor

We felt so spoilt the whole weekend. The grounds were beautiful and the welcome from the team was genuine and warm. It was luxury but without being stuffy. The pool was so well kept and we really enjoyed the ambience. Dinner at the carriage house was delicious and the vegetarian options were varied. The staff interaction made the stay - friendly, warm and charming without being over the top. A few times our needs were anticipated before we had to ask - true hospitality.

Stunning, extraordinary, remarkable! Absolute perfection. Manor, grounds, staff, service, dining, golf, location… We added days onto our trip to Ireland simply to stay here and it was well worth it. This is a do not miss for anyone visiting the Emerald Isle. Just know in advance it is very difficult to leave here.

The hotel, Adare Manor, is beautiful as are the grounds. Over 800 acres of manicured grass, trees, flowers, plants and golf course. The staff are outstanding, friendly and helpful. Falconry and golf were great activities, not to be missed. There are also plenty of trails for walking or biking and the town of Adare village is within walking distance. The hotel staff will drive you there in their shuttle. Only takes a few minutes. Dining options including Carriage House, Oak Room (Michelin star), and breakfast gallery were all magnificent. My ONLY complaint about this hotel is the air conditioning….coming from Texas, we are used to really good AC, and this hotel does NOT have it. Despite lowering my room setting to 16 celsius, the room never cooled down. Not even one degree. It had a tiny AC vent. for the entire suite, and I verified it was putting out cold air. Even with a fan, the room was somewhat warm and sticky. A resort of this caliber needs to invest in this and pronto. I think they need a bigger central AC unit that can really forcefully push out the cold air into the rooms. Other than this, (which was not a minor issue, in my opinion ), a fantastic, dreamlike place, to which we shall return.

We had another superb meal at The Carriage House, following 18 holes ⛳️ The food did not disappoint, delicious and memorable. Even saw a celebrity or 2.. The atmosphere and ambience both inside and out is serene, magical and so special. See you in 2027 😎🙏

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Adare Manor. The State Room was well equipped and serviced nicely. The grounds are lovely and a pleasure to take leisurely strolls. Don't miss the new chocolate house. My husband the low handicap golfer was extremely pleased with the golf course. Evidently the Ryder Cup is being played there next year and he was very happy to play the course. We took advantage of some other activities and quite enjoyed the archery lessons. The Falconry program looked interesting and might be on board for a return visit. Adare is a large place with lots going on (weddings, etc) but it still maintains a certain charm. The only problem we encountered was that there seemed to be a staff shortage in some areas. Service in the carriage house was very slow for instance. Our reservation time came and went and we waited with others who also said their times had passed, but when we finally sat down, there were many empty tables. That said, the food was good and the service, while slow, was excellent. In spite of a few lapses, I will still give Adare Manor high marks. And because of the fabulous golf course, I might return again to keep my husband happy!

We had a 70 th birthday to celebrate with husband and son tagged along to play golf From the moment we arrived we were cocooned into a truly memorable place all the staff and golf professionals were outstanding As someone who has to have gluten free food I was impressed with all that I could eat and even more impressed with my breakfast basket of croissant, muffin and danish pastry The hot food was good too Sadly we stayed for one night only but the meal and service at the carriages was exceptional
