Room was massive and had everything we needed for a few days. Parking wasn't ideal, the hotel charges £21 a day, but thankfully we managed to find some street parking.
The location was great, everything in walking distance or you can jump on the train to Cardiff Bay.
We paid £20 to use the spa but it was busy and we didn't even have chance to use the jacuzzi because of this. We spoke to staff about returning later in the day but it's a £10 per person PER ENTRY fee. Of all the mecure hotels I've stayed in, the spa wasn't worth an extra £10 per day, never mind per visit. Unfortunately it was the only disappointing part of our stay.

Excellent in all they do, although I was disappointed to find that the Pool facilities are now charged at £10 per visit, whereas they were free at the time of our previous visit. This should be made clearer.

I had a truly wonderful and peaceful stay at the hotel. The room was thoughtfully equipped with every amenity I could need—from a hairdryer, extra towels and pillows, to an ironing board, a cozy reading area, and spacious wardrobes. Complimentary tea was also available in the room, which added a lovely touch.
The room itself was spacious and well soundproofed, offering a restful atmosphere. I especially appreciated the convenience of late-night room service and the availability of spa facilities. Although I didn’t have time to use the spa, the information provided in the room was clear and helpful.
As a solo traveler, I highly recommend this hotel—not just for its central and convenient location, but also for the sense of safety and comfort it provided throughout my stay.

We stayed tor two nights over the busy festive period which meant that we returned for rest. In that respects, our hotel room was cosy, quiet and the bed just right for restful sleep.
