Upnorth stay 7/23 - 7/27

Quiet Retreat
We absolutely loved it here. The street was quiet, the house was perfect, and the nearby grocery store in Adams is WELL STOCKED for those on a gluten-free diet. We're already looking forward to our next stay here.

Castle Rock Lake Area
Was a very quit and laid back area, close to the lake. Places to eat near by and only a half hour drive to the Dells.

Cute house
Cons:We were unable to open the lockbox to get the key. We had to leave a message for the owner. The second contact number told us to go to the neighbors to get the key. Luckily he was home. We got in and started our vacation. The cleaning lady came over to check on us. We told her we got a key from the neighbor. We figured she would let the owner know that we got in.
We were told on the day of our vacation that the oven wasn’t working. It is disappointing to get fewer amenities than expected.
There was no shade (umbrella?) on the deck. We could only use it after dark.
There were many personal photos in the living room. We understand this is a home but when renting they should be removed.
PROS: The house was very cute. The living room/kitchen was large with nice flooring. There were lots of fans and 2 bedroom AC units (although the one in the 3 bed room was loud). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were lots of extra blankets and other supplies. The location was great. There were many great restaurants within a short distance. There were parks, beaches and other woodsy areas to explore. The Dells are a quick easy drive away. The price was very reasonable. The owners seem well intentioned. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

it is absolutely amazing and beautiful place to stay never felt more at home than we did here very pleasant people to work with i would rent again in a heartbeat
