Cook's Club Adakoy, Marmaris - Adults Only "Plus 16"

It’s amazing place you fell like you are in the small land nice experience every thing it’s nice and They provide boat service to and from the largest bazaar in Marmis without the need to use the car

The good points , some lovely staff , especially the lady in restaurant who can’t do enough for you . The rooms are very small which wasn’t too bad . But the bathroom was so small & no where to put anything.For a 5 star there where no toiletries, just a shampoo & body wash . I left my conditioner at home so had to buy some . The fridge had no drinks in considering it was all inclusive? The house keeping wasn’t very good . They left the petals that decorated our bed on arrival in shower floor for week . We were lucky our room was very quiet as lots of guests had been moaning about the noise . The pool area was lovely , the sunbeds very comfortable & as was the beach . So lovely to swim in sea . The only problem was the morning dj played the same music each morning which got very repetitive. There is lots to do if that’s what you would like , but we needed a rest . The food doesn’t haven’t a big choice & I think catered for the English. I’ve been to Turkey 15 times and always enjoyed the fresh fish and meat , but salmon was always on menu & im not even sure Turkey has salmon. They also covered everything in a sauce . It’s the first time visiting Turkey that I got bored & fed up of food . I even had a pizza & never done this so if you want to eat local food this is definitely not for you . If you like pizza , pasta & lots of Mexican then you would like it . Breakfast was definitely the best meal of the day and coffee spot on . My partner wants to go back next year but because of the food I may not .its very English ! This hotel is definitely not an Ikos or Rixos which I’ve stayed at both . For the price I think it could be better . The all inclusive is definitely not great , not cocktails or Prosecco. You have to pay for cranberry juice !!!we said even if the brought the price of cocktails down people would be happier. 16 euros for an Aperol ! You also had to pay 2 euro per scoop if ice cream .We said there are no children so no one would over indulge in it . These small points for the cost could be changed and maybe more would go . We did find out the hotel was half full hence how relaxing it was . On our last day we asked to keep our room from check out 13 to 6 pm . I thought as half full they would be helpful but again extra cost of 60 euros !!! Definitely worth looking at Ikos where nothing is too much or a Rixos first . Where all inclusive is definitely that .

Basically we stayed here for a week beginning 9th July and in that week my mum had her earrings which were of sentimental value stolen by I presume one of the cleaners. I had my bracelet stolen and also we met a couple who had their wallet and some money taken. I have many negatives to say about the experience of staying in the hotel and despite me enjoying some parts of the holiday, it is obviously completely out the of order for a staff member to steal our belongings- there could be more which we just haven’t noticed yet (like some hair bobbles which I seem to have lost but can’t work out why anybody would want to take something like that but it wouldn’t surprise me to be honest). If anyone questions how I know it was a staff member taking the items then no one at all was in our room other than me and my parents, the door was always locked and we didn’t even tell anybody our room number. If a staff member who is actually a nice person would contact me regarding the jewellery and be able to send it back if we can claim which ones are ours than that would we appreciated thanks. Do not stay here and I’m making a formal complaint to Thomas cook too.

We went to adakoy with two children under 4 ... Big mistake! We accepted the late transfer but neilson chose not to inform us that there was a coach and boat transfer! With little or no help in transferring our luggage! Having arrived at the resort at 3am due to staff incompetence as they made us wait on coach for people who had already confirmed they were making their own way there! They then expected us to get up at 9am to book kids club and 9.30 to book our activities for the week! In addition to this we booked our holiday over the phone as an all inclusive if you put adakoy turkey in google search it comes up as all inclusive! It is not and is grossly misrepresented by their customer services who have not responded to our issues. This is the most stressful holiday we have ever been on despite trying tools the most of it ! There were other issues such as quality of the wake boarding services but probably to many to go into. Neilson's apologies to us are a £50 voucher off our next holiday to be spent by July next year! We have had better offers from them in vouchers in regard to holidays in the post! We have asked them for a transcript of the conversation With the telephonist we booked holiday but they refuse to answer our questions! I sadley say unless you are a couple who wish to deposit your over tired children in kids club all day and not enjoy a holiday with them! Do not embark on this as you may find it to be more of a nightmare than you imagine!
