Century Resort

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel great staff,breakfast catered for all European travellers,clean rooms a bit dated and the beds were terrible,ask for a mattress topper on arrival to make it more comfortable,the location is great for an evening stroll along the beach

We had a clean, spacious apartment with an amazing sea view. The apartments are well spread out amongst verdant well maintained grounds on a hillside, so some steep slopes/steps to negotiate. Our "superior" apartment, described as self-catering, had no cooking or food preparation facilities. A kettle, 2 cups, 2 glasses, and a fridge were all the kitchenette offered. The location is tranquil within a short walk from many amenities and beach. There was plenty of choice from the breakfast buffet and a convenient pool bar. Overall, though, it was a lovely resort.

We arrived late at night. The rooms are basic but large. Shower left a lot to be desired. Hose above the bath. Trickle of water coming out of it. Breakfast was poor in our opinion. So much so we stopped going. Nice pool but so many wasps and hornets flying about it made it very uncomfortable. Don’t get me started on the mosquitoes (I know that’s not a Century specific issue) but OMG they are everywhere. Mozzie spray was not having a great impact. Must have been bitten over 40 times 🤦‍♂️ TUI rate this resort as 4 star???? No way. It’s 2 maybe 3 at very best. Nice enough staff but just tired and not really what we were looking for.

Century Resort is nice but we were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel accommodation was nothing like the one advertised on the Tui website. Whilst we appreciate that images on a website is an illustrative guide, they should still be realistic of the standard we can expect. The room on the Tui website looked nothing like the one we were allocated. This is room 703 which looked like a former storage utility room with metal railings converted into a bedroom - as you can see in the pictures. I think if we had been given a room that looked like the picture on the website then we would've given higher marks. Pros: - The bed was comfortable. - People at the resort are friendly - especially our cleaner with the reddish hair. - The resort is family friendly and really good for kids. - The service is efficient. Cons: - We stayed room 703 which looked nothing like the one advertised on Tui website. It was more like a former storage room with metal railings and we had paid for 10 days! We would never had booked this room if I had seen the real pictures. - The garden view faces the car park driveway. - I had ordered a chicken meal for lunch at the resort and found pork. I can eat pork but some people do not. - Dirty cups in the bedroom weren't replaced. We used handwash to rinse it ourselves. We were very disappointed with our room, but otherwise, location was very good, pool was good, staff was polite, and great for families. Our satisfaction rating would've been higher if it wasn't for the room.
