Beautiful resort right on the coast of Los Gigantes. Magnificent views from the restaurant terrace. The food is okay, but could be seasoned better.

The hotel was lovely, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food and service was excellent. A great programme of entertainment that kept us busy in the evenings. This was our second visit. Planning to return again!

VERY disappointed that after all the negative reviews on here saying Tui should advise guests of the annual carnival and noise BEFORE they book, they still don't! Not having read the reviews fully, I booked for Feb 2026 and then realised we'd be there at the time of the carnival (which is 27/2 to 8/3 in 2026). At a £100 amendment cost, I managed to alter our dates but feel strongly Tui should advise guests before booking. They say it's the town hall that arrange the carnival and therefore not their responsibility - but ensuring their guests receive the quiet, restful holiday they advertise, surely is! * I had to add a "visit date" above so put in July 2025 but we actually go next year. Wanted to ensure others don't fall into the expensive £100 amendment trap I did!

We had an amazing stay at Tui Blue! The views were beautiful and all the staff are fantastic and an asset to the hotel! Our room was clean and bed very comfy. Shower was also very strong and good. Food was FANTASTIC! Loved everything we ate with lots of options and live cooking. The culinarium restaurant food was gorgeous and cannot be missed! Pool was quite busy but we always got sunbeds. We didn’t stay for any entertainment but went to a bar just outside the hotel called Highland Paddys (highly recommend!!!) It was my birthday whilst at the hotel and the staff sang happy birthday and were so kind. Would 100% be coming back to the hotel!

Nestled on the striking coastline of Tenerife, TUI BLUE Los Gigantes promises a picturesque retreat for travellers seeking relaxation and memorable experiences in the Canary Islands. Having recently returned from a week-long holiday at this popular hotel, I feel compelled to share a comprehensive and balanced account of my stay—a reflection intended to inform prospective guests while acknowledging both the highlights and the less favourable aspects that shaped my time there. Arrival and First Impressions Arriving in Tenerife after a journey filled with anticipation, my excitement to begin a week of sun and tranquillity was unfortunately tempered by the very first experience: the airport transfer. After facing an unexpected delay at baggage claim due to an issue with one of our suitcases, we exited the arrivals lounge to find the TUI transfer coach had already departed without us. The sense of dismay was compounded by the absence of any visible TUI representatives in the arrivals area. Left to our own devices, we eventually received assistance from a Jet2 representative—someone from a completely different company—who kindly offered advice and direction. Ultimately, we resorted to hiring a car from one of the few rental agencies still open at that late hour. Attempts to raise the matter with TUI staff were disappointing. TUI holiday reps were scarce and difficult to approach throughout the trip, and when I finally spoke to a representative about the transfer issue, the response I received was unsympathetic, with no explanation or apology offered. This rocky start left an initial impression that lingered throughout my stay, setting a tone that, regrettably, coloured my perceptions of the broader service culture. Cleanliness and Maintenance Nevertheless, stepping through the doors of TUI BLUE Los Gigantes, it became immediately apparent that the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness and maintenance is unwavering. The public spaces gleamed, with staff visibly attentive to detail, diligently maintaining both interior and exterior areas. Corridors were spotless, and housekeeping attended to rooms daily with a thoroughness that left nothing to be desired. The freshness of the rooms and communal areas consistently fostered a sense of comfort and well-being. This level of care created a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating clear pride and professionalism from the hotel’s maintenance and housekeeping teams. In this regard, TUI BLUE Los Gigantes excels and sets a high standard worthy of commendation. Dining Experience The hotel caters to a broad clientele with a range of dining options. The main restaurant offers buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a rotating menu designed to appeal to diverse tastes. While the quality and selection were certainly adequate—with fresh salads, grilled meats, vegetarian options, and themed evenings—my experience did not fully align with the glowing praise seen in some online reviews. Though rarely disappoint

Myself and partner have just returned from a weeks stay at the Tui Blue. Overall the hotel was really good. The food, in particular breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and so fresh. Evening meal - you could always find something nice to eat, and the quality on the whole was good. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced for a hotel and the lunch time prices in the pool bar were also very reasonable and the food there was good. Pool areas were nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds. Our room could have done with freshening up, the paintwork was chipped, bathroom door surrounds were worn, but these things are just cosmetic. I did feel like the cleanliness of the entire hotel wasn’t up to standard, the balcony in our room was dirty, I hung a towel over it and it was covered it black marks afterwards. There was sand everywhere from the day we arrived so it hadn’t been swept. The windowsills in the buffet restaurant needed a thorough cleaning. One of the staircases for 3 days had a cobweb in the corner on the stairs. The housekeeping staff and staff in the restaurant were lovely, however the gentlemen on reception were not very helpful on multiple occasions. We returned after a day out at around 6pm and our room had not been cleaned, and therefore no clean towels, so I went down to reception and explained that I understood it was probably too late for someone to come and clean our room but that we needed fresh towels, he said he would contact the housekeeping team and have some sent up, I waited 30 mins and no towels were sent. We went back down to reception and a different gentleman on reception said he would send some straight away, again nobody came. We eventually got ready and went out for the evening, calling at reception again and by the time we came back after midnight, again no towels had been left. This to me is just poor service, it was annoying enough that the room hadn’t been cleaned but to then ask 3 times for towels and not be sent any is just not good enough. There was a lady on reception one day and I found her to be very pleasant and helpful. Overall the hotel is really nice, just a few niggly bits that could easily be rectified to make it perfect. Los Gigantes is really quiet, there is only 1 bar that stays open late (paddy’s bar literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel) so if you are wanting a lively holiday then this isn’t the place for you. This is the place to go to relax and chill out. We also used the local bus service, the bus stops just outside the Harbour Club which is a few minutes walk up the road, and cost us just under €8 (for both of us) to get to Costa Adeje and took around 45 minutes.

overall we really enjoyed our stay. pool areas are great. people will put their towels out when pools open at 8am and then not use the loungers until 3pm … however that’s not the fault of the hotel and there are plenty of loungers - we never had any issues getting one. room was quite dated and could do with a freshen up. the socket next to the bed was coming off the wall, however reception staff ensured this was quickly fixed once alerted. room was always cleaned and made up to a high standard. buffet food was a pleasant surprise - especially the breakfast which was v good and varied. always a decent number of veggie options but sometimes varying quality (come to expect this as a veggie). the staff at the restaurant (especially at the outdoor seating terrace area) were absolutely lovely. wish we skipped the culinarium restaurant - the food was v underwhelming (first veg main was ratoutille veg wrapped in courgette strips - supposedly ‘ravioli’ - with puréed carrot, salmon was tasteless… better options at the buffet) but also the staff were rude and ignored us repeatedly (e.g. blamed us for bringing two vegetarian starters even though we had said on multiple occasions only one of us was veggie and confirmed again when we went in. we also asked for a bottle of water to which the man joked (or so we thought) “no you can’t” but 20-30 mins later we were still waiting, so we tried to get their attention by saying excuse me which other tables around us heard and she ignored us. eventually she came by our table to get cutlery to give out and we asked for the water again and were told to “wait a minute”… we had already waited). i think they were defo understaffed for the number of people they were serving, but not an excuse for the rude behaviour. however would stress this was a rarity - could not fault the rest of the staff at the hotel who were all great.
