I had the worst lodging experience ever at this hotel. I booked a room for 40k naira and I found out the toilet would let out water on the floor at every flush messing up the floor. I requested my room to be changed but was forced to upgrade to a 45k naira room. Yet I found again that the toilet would out water at every flush, at first, the toilet would not flush at all, had to call to fix it, yet it happened again. Overall, the toilet area was dirty and visibly stained with human remains. I was disgusted and couldn't use the toilet, I called for a cleaner to wipe and disinfect the surfaces, but to my greatest surprise he told me they do not have any cleaning chemicals. In other words, cleaning and hygiene is not a priority for this hotel. It is now two days since I left the hotel and I have discovered I caught an athlete's foot infection, apparently from stepping barefoot on the toilet floor. I feel like I deserve some kind of apology and compensation for my experience. It was a traumatic experience for me. Stay away from this hotel as much as possible, their services are way too poor their facilities are old and have a very poor cleaning standard especially for the toilet. The only positive is that the people and staff are nice.
