The stay at Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi was a perfect experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt the meticulous service. The hotel's design combines modern luxury with traditional Arabian elements, and the lobby is spacious and bright with an artistic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city or the Arabian Gulf. The beds are soft and the facilities are complete. The bathrooms are especially stylish and equipped with high-end toiletries. The hotel has a rich dining option, with a wide variety of high-quality breakfasts and dinners at Michelin-star restaurants with exquisite dishes and professional service. In addition, the hotel's pool and spa facilities are first-class, providing an excellent relaxation experience. The location is excellent, close to major attractions and shopping malls. Overall, this is an unforgettable luxury trip and highly recommended for travelers who are looking for a high-quality experience.

The eight-star hotel is well-deserved! Basically, there is nothing wrong with it👍 There is a small surprise when you check in - I booked a double bed room, but when I entered the room, I found that the extra bed for the child was already prepared, and there was no additional charge. It is so considerate that I must praise it! The room facilities are low-key and luxurious, and the bedding is large and comfortable. This feeling can only be experienced after sleeping. The welcome gift for check-in includes fruits and a whole box of chocolates, and the purified water in glass bottles is very classy. There is a night bed service every night. The hotel environment is really large, and I haven't completely visited it after staying for two days. The beach is opposite the cruise port, the sand is fine, and the sea water is a dreamy blue, not inferior to Maldives and Hawaii. Lying on a beach chair is indeed a top-level holiday experience. The hotel provides more than a dozen marine recreational projects, such as kayaking, sampan, etc., all free of charge. There are two areas in the swimming pool, one is the main swimming pool, which is relatively large, and there are beach chairs by the pool. As long as you are a hotel guest, a waiter will come to deliver water and towels when you sit down, and the mineral water is chilled in a thermos bag. The other is a water park where you can drift and play slides. Different types of swimming rings are placed on the shore for you to take. There are more than a dozen restaurants in the hotel. We only tried the buffet Vendome, which costs 600rmb per person. It should be the cheapest restaurant here. There are many types of dishes, the ingredients are very good, and the materials are very exquisite. The environment and the quality of the dishes are not comparable to the self-service of a few hundred yuan in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China. It is worth a try. There are several bays in the lobby for coffee and simple meals, which cost about 100 to 200 yuan per person. The famous gold foil coffee is served in this lobby bay. Tourists have more experience, so we didn't try it. The hotel breakfast restaurant is in Vendome. In the morning, you can sit on the terrace and eat while watching the sea view of the Persian Gulf. There are two waiters who speak Chinese and are very nice. There are not many types of breakfast, the ingredients are too hard, and the taste is local style. It is not very friendly to those who don't like acidic food. It feels not as good as the breakfast of Hilton in Yas Island. You can exchange currency at the check-in place in the hotel lobby. It is more convenient to exchange small amounts of dirhams than going outside. There is also a bank in the lobby, and you can use UnionPay to withdraw cash. The presidential palace is next to the hotel, and you can walk there. You can see the lights on the beach at night. Across the road is the Etihad Tower, which is said to have a good buffet. It takes about ten minutes and 20 dirhams to take a taxi from the hotel to the nearby Marina Mall. It takes about 1.5 hours and 550 dirhams to take a taxi from here to Atlantis Hotel in Dubai. Overall, it was worth the trip, and I will choose it again next time!

Shockingly luxurious, very tycoon.

We stayed in their deluxe suite this time, room number 2601 is their presidential suite. This was the worst experience I had staying at the Mandarin Oriental. I have had this account for several years, and I rarely write reviews, but this time I couldn't stand it anymore. I stayed for three days, and on the last night before leaving, I took some sleeping pills to fall asleep at 11 pm. At 2 am, all the lights in the room were turned on, which scared me. So I got up and turned off all the lights, took some sleeping pills to fall asleep, and went to sleep. At 4 am, all the lights in the room were on again. Then at 6 am, all lights were on at 8 am. I couldn't stand it anymore at 6 am and complained to the front desk, but the front desk didn't care at all, and there was no apology or sincerity in their tone. They asked me if I wanted a maintenance worker to go up, which would take about 40 minutes. My flight was at 10 am, so I said forget it, but the main thing is to reflect this incident, which is the most outrageous experience I have had in the Mandarin Oriental and even in all the years of staying in hotels. The customer service said "OK" briefly and hung up immediately. I didn't hear a single word of apology from beginning to end. It was really weird and a rubbish experience.

The worst hotel in the entire UAE trip. The so-called 8-star rating is completely exaggerated. It's not that the hotel facilities are so bad, but the service is simply hard to describe. When checking in, the waiter's attitude was quite arrogant, giving people the feeling of going through some procedures in a government department. It was interrogation-style throughout the process, as if ordinary people were not worthy of staying in their hotel. It was not until I showed obvious displeasure that the other party barely squeezed out a smile. The person who led us to check in later actually asked us to take the luggage to the room by ourselves, on the grounds that there were too many Chinese people staying during the Chinese New Year, and the luggage porters were too busy (later they were asked to take it up). When checking out, an Indian lady asked us for more than 1,000 dirhams for breakfast for two children under 12 years old at first. After I repeatedly asked why, it was reduced to more than 500. Later, I asked why it was more than 500. She shamelessly explained that she had miscalculated and it was more than 400. As a hotel known as the most luxurious hotel in the world, this service and management are really speechless. The hotel hardware is OK, but because it is already considered half a tourist attraction, the lobby and other public areas are full of backpackers checking in, and it lacks the tone of a high-end hotel. There was no tissue in the tissue box in the room when I checked in (Figure 7). I made three calls to the hotel to get an extra quilt (they called at around 4 o'clock and delivered at around 8 o'clock). Although the beach and camels were nice, overall it did not even meet the expectations of an average five-star hotel. I really came with high expectations, but left disappointed.
