I always stayed at the hotel during my business trip, and the facilities were fine. However, after I checked out, I was charged an extra night's room fee, and I still need to keep up with employee training. This time I found that the breakfast was still very rich, much better than before.

I am a Titanium Lifetime Bonvoy member, so this review is not without experience. My son contracted FLEAS at this hotel. He has since been on antibiotics, steroids, etc. not to mention the itching, rashes, etc. Normally, I would say that it happens and contact the hotel to let them know there is an issue and they should change their sheets. I contacted Bonvoy Customer Service and they sent me a nice email stating that the hotel would contact me. A week later - nothing! I called the hotel to let them know and the front desk clerk, Tony, completely dismissed and mocked me. When I asked to speak to a manager, Tony said there was none. Wouldn’t a decent hotel take this seriously? Would you want to stay here knowing that there are FLEAS and they don’t change the sheets? And, just because you have 30 year loyalty with Titanium Status (highest for Bonvoy), that you can be heard and at least, be acknowledge?

I stayed at this hotel for 1 month. For the most part my stay was ok. My main issue is that it took 2 weeks to get on the room cleaning schedule.. When that got straightened out, the huge problem was that the housekeepers did a half job. The tables were not cleaned and the floors were not vacuumed. If it wasn't for my bed being made I would not have known someone had been there. The final straw was that I had to go to the store and buy cleaning products to clean my toilet. That hotel is very dated. The curtains were cracking due to sun exposure. The fridge was missing the cover where butter is stored. The desk chair was old and the leather had worn off. This level of service is not what I expected from a Marriott facility. When I told management about my problems she told me that the hotel was under renovation. My problem with that is, THEIR RATES DO NOT REFLECT THAT THEY "ARE UNDER RENOVATION"

I travel extensively for business and stay in many hotels. This Residence Inn was exceptional. Matt and all the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a room on the third floor. It was very clean and quiet and it had a fireplace!!! That made the room very cozy. The hotel is convenient to town and a number of amazing restaurants and is close to the airport. Ft. Wayne is a beautiful city, especially in early spring with all the flowering trees, tulips, daffodils and lovely parks.

Residence inn Has gone downhill and these properties are in desperate need of updating. The one bedroom is said to have a queen bed and pull out. The bed is a FULL not a queen. Not comfortable. The pullout not only had a bar across your back but the mattress was the worst I’ve ever seen. Our tub spigot pulled out of the wall when I pulled up to divert water to shower. The tub filled so high with water in a short shower and the tub was so slippery I almost fell. Water just drained super slow. The sink drain was also broken and my husband had to go under the sink to push it up so water would drain. Cabinets are cheap and old and filthy. The kitchen Cabinet was so costed in grine the door was stuck shut.

I am loyal Marriott brand traveler, because it usually has consistent good standards. This property does not live up to the Marriott brand. Had a 6 night stay here, but checked out after first night. Hard to locate front desk clerk for checkin and Hard to locate him subsequent times, then he did not seem to want to be bothered with anything; did not give basic hotel info. Room very outdated. Sofabed mattress extremely flimsy and uncomfortable. Entire hotel smells smokey, which I am sensitive to, Utilized hotel “chat” to cancel remaining nights, never got a response. Had to call worldwide reservation number to do so. Hotel manager did approach me to apologize and offer remuneration,
