Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). Toilet was quite small (I am not small). Desk and chair to work at in room, as well as good TV. Internet was good also. The only thing I didn't like was that the pillows on the bed were not firm enough for me (personal preference). Lots of choice for breakfast (which was included in the price of my room) and the hot food was cooked to order.

Excellent boutique style Bed & Brekfast
A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. You can easily see why Rafters was awarded a 5 Star AA rating in 2023 - well done Sigrid!! Would make Rafters my first choice if I needed to stay in this area again. Peter May.

This was my second visit as I was so impressed when I stayed here last year. Sigrid is an excellent and very professional host who provided a thoughtful welcome on arrival. I was given the same room as last year which is spacious, very clean and very thoughtfully and well furnished in every respect. A very good breakfast again, very good quality food for the cooked breakfast, homemade sourdough and cranberry bread, as well as homemade preserves and good quality coffee. No wonder Sigrid was awarded 5 stars again in 2024. If I am working in this area again next year, this is where I will choose to stay. By far the best bed & breakfast in which I have stayed. Well done again Sigrid - kind regards Peter.

Absolutely first rate B&B. Hostess was totally charming and our room was immaculate with as was the rest of the house. Breakfast was definitely award winning and the marmalade was to die for all home made and breakfast freshly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft, bis ins Detail perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Hübsches, sehr gepflegtes Haus mit Innenhof, auf dem man sicher parken kann. Ganz hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Völlig problemloses, eigenständiges Kommen und Gehen. Bequemes Bett, sehr gutes Frühstück, liebevoll zubereitet.
