What a wonderful find!! Booked for three nights and everything was great 👍 Top floor King size room with a view and what a view it was. Right by the sea. Breakfast was amazing. Greeted on arrival by a lovely smiling lady, couldn't be more helpful with everything we asked about and needed advice on.

Location suited very well with private parking, also a room on ground floor no problem to arrange. Staff all extremely friendly and helpful. Service/breakfast/cleanliness all excellent. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, great views across the sea front, exceptionalky clean and great suze room. Excellent value for money which included a full cooked breakfast.

Stayed four nights visiting family nearby. Really good service from first enquiry to last day and checkout, including help with luggage as on second floor. Comfortable bed and room an (perhaps a little short on storage space). Housekeeping excellent, lots of daily cleaning in all areas, not always easy when some areas looking slightly dated (which just felt quirky rather than a problem!) Restaurant staff also really friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent as was a super evening meal on first night. Will definitely visit again. One downside - was told coffee unavailable in lounge during mornings, which would have been really welcome; however on our last day we were told that would have been possible!

We have stayed at the Richmond several times now, because it is such a good hotel. The location is perfect, especially if you get a room with a sea view, so that you can watch the waves even when it is raining. The room we had was large and well equipped (though the shower would benefit from a grab rail). The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is excellent.

A recent work trip brought me to Aber. I booked here for a night and wasn't disappointed. Swanky? No. Clean? Very. Friendly and welcome? Absolutely. I slept well after a good walk on the front after a nice supper locally too. Be careful eating treats and walking with the every vigilant and hungry sea gulls. As with all staff, the breakfast team were welcoming, calm and efficient. The hot breakfasts were made to order and a nice buffet of basic continental items too. A really pleasant and reasonably priced B and B which I recommend.

Beware the price, on line £435 phoned to book only for them to demand £450,went elsewhere, probably because school holidays

What a superb Hotel. Spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic views from rooms 3 and 5. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. If visiting Aberystwyth, no need to consider anywhere else to stay but the Richmond. Diolch yn fawr iawn I chi gyd yn y Gwesty.
