Four Seasons Hotel

We found our double room was clean & spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished & ideal. The hotel is conveniently placed close to the promenade & town. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Please do yourself a favour and AVOID this 'hotel' and the other properties that this excuse for a man owns. We had booked in March to secure accommodation for our son's graduation. We have stayed at the hotel a couple of times before over the last 3 years and always had a great stay, We got an email 4 days before check in saying that they could no longer accommodate us and had to cancel our booking. I called and the person on the other end of the line could not explain why it had happened apart from 'had a download of bookings' - what??? We had booked in MARCH. Oh PLEASE. Be honest! You wanted to charge a higher rate! We will never book with them again. You have no morals, no ethics and do not deserve to run a business in what is a really special town.

I booked a double room (for 2) and separate studio (with kitchen for 4) for my family some 3 months before our arrival. I was contacted 2 weeks before the arrival date to confirm our booking. On the day of travel to the hotel I received a tel call from the hotel saying the Studio was no longer available as it was Graduation week at the University. This was the reason I booked early, as my daughter was graduating from Aberystwyth Uni. I did not receive a satisfactory answer as to why it was no longer available. The Hotel said we had been placed into a family room. I explained we were 4 adults and this was not really appropriate. I did ask for a partial refund and was told I could cancel the booking. With hotel space at a premium (and premium price) for Graduation week that was not an option on the day of arrival!!!! At the Hotel be aware there is only a handful of parking spaces. You have to park on the street or further away. Upon arrival I quizzed why our booking had been changed and was told the owner didn't look at our booking and let the Studio out to other guests. Our 'family' room was in the roof of the hotel (3 flights of stairs) and was so, so hot with 1 tiny window for fresh air. The bathroom and wc was out on the landing with a flickering light and inadequate extractor fan. One small basin shelf and 1 hook for towels for 4 people. Every door in the hotel had very strong door returns which caused doors throughout the hotel to slam shut so hard the walls in the attic room shook and woke us up multiple times. The room was tidy, clean but tatty. The bathroom just needs demolishing. The breakfast room was another sauna which was so uncomfortably hot we had to leave very quickly. The breakfast was basic and poor quality, with food swimming in grease, no pastries and every other plate was chipped. Chairs and table were sticky and unpleasant. Over priced and appalling customer service.

Did not get a chance to go............ So *********** just CANCELLED a booking that we made in MARCH!!!!!!!!! The Four Seasons couldn't give a reason except blubber "ummmmmmmm" So YOUR OWNER decides to play with the bookings to suit him - he is a real **** to do this to us on ours son's GRADUATION day!!! We have stayed with you many times previously and WILL NEVER stay with you again. NO ETHICS, NO MORALS - just MONEY GRABBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|| Both you and *********** should go to ****. We had confirmation in MARCH!!!!!!!!

Although they offer parking, no mention of first come first served, only enough spaces for 5 cars for 40 plus rooms - we were told to block all the cars in and leave our number on the windscreen - receptionist was very rude and laughed in my face as I had asked for a refund- she sent us to another place to park and we couldn’t even get our car in - lots of guests were complaining - reception is very dirty chairs are all marked - didn’t even make it to the room but can only imagine reading some of the reviews- AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL. Doesn’t look anything like the photos and is up a little back street
