TownePlace Suites Southern Pines Aberdeen

We couldn’t access the Internet so I called the front desk. When attempting to access the Internet, it said it didn’t recognize our room number or name. The woman who answered the phone said they had been having problems. I assumed they might have misspelled my lengthy and difficult last name, but she blew off that immediately. Perhaps, that is automatic? I don’t know. Then, she gave me two websites to access for help. Hello? I don’t have access to the Internet. Then, she gave me a 1-800 p’hone number to call. She was absolutely no help at all. We had no Internet the entire time we were there.

I love staying at Marriott hotel but every time I have an encounter with Ms. Miranda it's always an issue. I was checking in and I told her I needed a room with a oven. and she told me that kings don't have an oven. I said OKAY can you upgrade me to a two bedroom. She said that they were sold out I said OKAY. Can you maybe switch someone and just give them the king bed because it's a king room. She said couldn't downgrade anybody because one bedroom is bigger. So looked on Marriot website and it said it was available, and I went back up to the front desk and I asked her if i book this right now, I can get this room, she said no. Which didn't make sense to me because it was only 5;00 so I know everyone hasn't checked in yet. She told me that they were over sold but if I would've booked a two bedroom right then and there, she would have had to give it to me because I'm pretty sure its first come first served and IF the people that came late didn't have room would just get walked. I came BACK to the front desk and there was another lady there, I asked her the same thing and Miranda was on the phone, so she tapped her and shook her head no . So, the other young lady she said would look and see if there was availability so that I could book it and I can tell she by lying by her face which was very rude. Terrible customer service, it would have BETTER if she would've a least looked the first time or tried to accommodate some type of way because all I wanted was a room with an OVEN. Also to have your co-worker lie is horrible. Also, I work for Marriott :)

The hotel is very clean and well kept. They have a grill and firepit, which we enjoyed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Easy access to everywhere we were going.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Room was amazing- very clean and spacious. We will definitely be returning.

A very clean and well managed property with courteous staff. I will certainly stay here again given the opportunity.

Clean comfortable rooms. Comfortable bedding. Spotless bathrom and excellent shower pressure. Plenty of dishes and a fridge much larger than a mini fridge. Friendly staff. Good breakfast to get you on your way.Great locale for restautants and shopping. Would recommend and stay here again if in the area.
